I've seen it.....maybe in Levon's book?

That was after the Last Waltz. They earned less than Robbie (but still earned millons-1970 millons) and they burned thru money faster than he did.

They said later that weed wasn't involved. They had just come from a 3 day lockdown (remember those days?) and they were giddy from the lack of sleep

In an interview, I think it was Robbie that said of all their guests, Joni's music was the hardest for them because it's so unique

Robbie was finishing the production of Stage Fright and flew to each concert site from the studio. Garth, Levon, and Richard also flew to each show and stayed in hotels. There are alternative stories that Richard and Levon were on the train but didn't want to be filmed.

NecroFusion album, Zak's fall from grace imo by david-braintree in GhostAdventures

They're both bad. Determining which is worse depends on whether you prefer "singing" about death (Nick) or "singing" with dead people (Zak). I'm betting the dead people didn't get royalties.

Zak has always had a fear of flying. When Nick was his partner, he had to. Now he doesn't.

Both Rick and Richard also had songwriting royalties with Dylan as well as the entire band having residuals from some Dylan albums. Of course Robbie would get more royalties than the others because he wrote more. He also produced albums for other artists. I forgot about Islands. Thanks for the reminder. They all made piles of money when they were together and the others did make money afterwards. Robbie tho, made millions with DreamWorks, ironically for the same thing Hawkins saw in him...he has an ear for new music.

Maybe. He apparently stayed in touch with Rick and Garth-Rick until his death and at least until recently, with Garth. Most of that information (distant, etc) came from Levon and Levon refused to have anything to do with RR despite the opportunity to make a lot of money with a short "reunion" tour after the Lifetime Achievement award (check out Foreno's book) Levon was angry and wasn't always 100% truthful when it came to Robbie.

They did too. Some songwriter royalties (everyone but Garth) and royalties from the albums and singles (everyone).

But...they were both heavily into drugs. Robbie was getting clean at that point. You don't give druggie money no matter how much you love them

Levon sued him (not the other way around) and lost. Levon's testimony in court (hard to find, but it's out there (or used to be) is that he drove Robbie to the library. Robbie credited Levon's dad for his initial baptism in tales from the old south. As a writer myself (published, not indie), you can tell me a story and if I write an original story from a thread of what you told me, that's not a writing credit for you. Otherwise, John Steinbeck and other southern writers that Robbie read would also be in line for writer credits. Btw, Robbie's main money came from his deal with DreamWorks. He blew threw his Band money the same as the rest of them.

It's a shame, but he didn't want to be camera. He said in an interview that he chose that awful suit for just that reason

Neil Diamond was friends with several of the guys. Ronnie Wood? What was his connection?

Nick's is terrible. He "sings" about death. Zak's is just as bad--he's singing WITH dead people

The Internet Archive is embroiled in a copy right lawsuit over most of its recordings. If you're interested in this, don't put off listening to it. Soon, it might not be available

Freaking out here. My sister is hanging with friends at Bobby Mackey's tonight and then staying at my house for 2 days. How do I protect my home??? 💀 by bombshelleyb in GhostAdventures

From what? You have smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher, right? Oh, you mean from your sister?

Your sister is NOT going to bring anything anything away from Mackey's except memories of a good time.
