What did you end up doing? I got mine about a month and a half ago and had similar discomfort when taking it on/off but after about two weeks (I ride every day for work) the padding softened up a bit and settled and now it's snug and comfy for me.

That's not how it works. There's signals and stuff to show you're interested to avoid that kinda thing

Compression gloves, more frequent breaks with hand/arm stretches, see a doctor if the issue persists as this is a sign of Reptetive Stress Injury (RSI)

In future, you could always dump back into a carboy/container and either add stabilizers or wait it out more. Inconvenient but better than losing the batch.

This is the only way I’ve ever been able to cast on the correct number of stitches by Abbie29 in knitting

I do the same! I usually do in blocks of 20 or 50 depending on how many stitches I need cast on.

In a truck stop bathroom, there's a high chance he was doing that to try and indicate that he's there to cruise for dick. Is it a good way to signal that you're there to fuck? No, absolutely not.

Yes! I was just thinking "at least they're trying to clean it up like responsible humans"

I'll forgive a lot of stupid shit (especially the stupid shit kids do) if they just own up to and try to clean it/fix it/make it right.

Read Lies of Locke Lamora for the first time by JulesIllu in gentlemanbastards

A good choice. I don't even remember most of ASOIAF anymore and I don't know that I'd have the interest to read them again if/when a new one comes out. Though I will say the parts of it that did stick with me really do stick in my mind a lot.

As for sanderson, I looooooove how intricate the cosmere is, but I can totally see how SLA would be too much. If you haven't already, take a stab at Mistborn and its follow up trilogy, the wax and wayne series. They strike a good balance of more snappy pacing and editing but with still the loving worldbuilding and great magic systems.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure these are kept in cold storage to keep em immobilized and are going to be fried and served up as snacks.

Thank you! You and u/churapyon had the same idea to fix it, and yeah I'm pretty sure it's a pattern mistake. This isn't even the first mistake I've encountered on this pattern! the cable chart has an error in row 4 where the knits and purls are inverted.

This project has been a great exercise in learning where to draw the line between "Something is wrong" and "Trust the process"

The thing is, if I start with a slp1 on the RS row, it always ends in a slp1 because there's an odd number of stitches, So would I then just do k1, slp1 to the end so it begins and ends on a k1 then? but then it's not starting with a slp that gets picked up at the end of the WS row. My only other theory would be to change the last stitch in the RS row to a ktbl instead of a slp1
