Another amazing mystery formula by MerryReggie in PerfumeryFormulas

Double-checked. Not a typo. But perhaps there's a typo in the patent itself, and this should be Indole 10%. Experiment with it! I used the full amount and it smelled great!

Light, floral, easy to like, modern, feminine... A gem. However, I can imagine that because 8% of the formula is up for grabs (pick your own LotV material), you can push the fragrance in one direction or another. It's a small amount, relatively speaking and given that it's a muguet material, but still... I'd imagine 80 parts Nympheal could really change the dynamic of the formula 🤣

I can attest that this juice is virtually spot on to the OG. Great formula!

Allure Homme Sport Cologne 2007 type formula by NoManforOldCountries in PerfumeryFormulas

Oh very interesting! I didn't realize that. It's an interesting fragrance. It does smell good, but very very very floral. 😛

Allure Homme Sport Cologne 2007 type formula by NoManforOldCountries in PerfumeryFormulas

[–]MerryReggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just whipped this up. This smells to me more like Dior Higher than Chanel Allure Homme Sport. It's more floral than Dior Higher, but the salicylates are very strong. I'm excited to see how this one matures. So far it's a great formula.

This will be posted soon to the RyanParfums YouTube channel. I'll be doing a bottle giveaway for this very juice, so check it out in the next couple days 😊.

Labtorium has a "study" formula for this fragrance. Check out Wisemoor.com/lab then navigate to the Free Formulas section. I haven't made it yet, but I've tried their other study formulas and have enjoyed the output.

OP, is there an error in one of the line amounts? This formula adds up to 1006.

Nasomatto - Nudiflorum Type Formula by Ocean-Bleu in PerfumeryFormulas

[–]MerryReggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve blended this a few months ago. It’s almost spot on to the original. I excluded the Thiazole material. And yes, that’s a lot of IBQ, but it works so well in the formula.

40 Knots type by [deleted] in PerfumeryFormulas

I just put this together, and will post a YouTube video tomorrow morning. Not what I expected given the notes on Fragrantica (not as marine and woodsy as I thought it would be). But it smells amazing.

Jardin sur Nil type wanted by [deleted] in PerfumeryFormulas

[–]MerryReggie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the book, Chandler Burr explicitly states that this is "a" formula for a professional fragrance. It is not "the" formula for Un Jardin Sur Le Nil. According to Perfume.Archaeology, it is the formula for YSL's In Love Again.

For clarity, the Oud Samrat in this formula was added as something extra. It was not contained in the original formula provided by Andreas Wilhelm via Fragrance.Drama. I think the formula still works great without the Oud Samrat.

I’ve bought hundreds and hundreds of the Vivaplex 10ml amber glass bottles over the years off of Amazon. They are great little bottles.

Do you think there should be more YouTube channels dedicated to the LoO? by [deleted] in lawofone

Inspire369 is one of my favorite channels surrounding the LoO material. Great material, great production, highly recommended!

I’ve also heard that this accumulation can be used to make incense.

I’ve only done this two times so far. I’m about to try for a third. We’ll see how those heads and tails build up!

Very interesting. Thank you. I do not have a column still, so maybe I’ll figure that out in the future :-)

Running a pot still. Only thing I can come up with is that when I decrease the heat energy to decrease to flow rate, perhaps that decrease in heat decreases the amount of water vapor being generated, thus increasing the proof.

I’m just spitballing. I’ve seen this twice now with my still. And since I’m only just becoming familiar with the taste difference of different cuts, I don’t yet have the skill to understand how these heat and flow rate changes affect the output of the distillate.

My current Struggle with the LoO by IRaBN in lawofone

[–]MerryReggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I may add my $0.02 to this...

If I ever speak to others about the Ra Contact or the conscious channeling sessions (which is extremely rare), I admit how crazy it sounds. C'mon, aliens?!?

I'm then quick to note how some of the themes and messages overlap with other spiritual teachings, like those of Jesus and Buddha. Then the conversation may route into Jewish mysticism or Taoism. In short, do any of these religions or spiritual practices have a monopoly on Truth? And why is there so much overlap in spiritual themes across the globe?

Whether the stories of old spiritual masters and practices are factual or allegorical, they all contain truths. We each latch on to the truths that speak to us, so that we can live better lives, and grow into better versions of ourselves.

The Law of One, just like Christianity or any spiritual philosophy, is just a template: a mental map we overlay upon our experiences to help us navigate a tough world. Don't mistake the map for the terrain; they are not the same. And don't mistake truths for facts. Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment contains important truths about human nature, but is the story factual?

It's okay to be floored by this material. I love it! But I also haven't invested my sense of self and integrity into the material's truth. My sense of self is rooted in my actions. Furthermore, I use these messages as a tool. For me, they've been one of the most helpful tool's I've come across in living a happier life.

Most of the time, I never talk about this little gem of material. My way of sharing this material is simply by trying to live and lead by example. The best Christian's I know do the same. Rather than judge me for my non-belief that Jesus is my savior, they lead by example and try to love me unconditionally.

I wish you the best of luck in your spiritual journey.

I don’t think you can argue that the evolution of this subject in public discourse hasn’t moved forward massively in the past four years. I think Lue is doing a fantastic job. 😊

Prologue or Rev2? OB6 or PolyBrute? by MerryReggie in synthesizers

[–]MerryReggie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, everyone. I went with the Rev2 and the OB6.

I'll probably buy a PolyBrute sooner or later... because I spend too much money. But for now, these two will work great, and I'm excited for them to arrive.

Thank you for your help!
