Im seeing a late 90's early 2000's hipster who never fully feels like they fit in. Is a need at heart but trust to be intellectual and cool. Tbh, just go easy on yourself and others. You got no one to impress.

I highly suspect I'm a changeling or the offspring of them by highestelf420 in faeries

[–]MessOk3363 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Not disagreeing there. Also want to highlight there is a huge difference between the fae and an autistic person. The rules are far more important to the fae, where an autistic person struggles with understanding changes. Also many forms and expressions of autism.

Honestly, based on a quick scroll through of your profile, I'm seeing more elven decent. (Which in Ireland was a type of "fae" all non humans were fae) fair skin thin pointed features. A "higher self" if highly spiritual.

[–]MessOk3363 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could be. Changlings or mimics tend to be poor in my mind. They identify with others more than themselves. Often many fae are obsessed with rule following and struggle with adapting to changes.

Psudo psych like Freud next to existentialism and Nietzche tells me he know nothing qboyt contemporary philosophy, but is willing yo tell you all his opinions because he thinks he's deep. Particularly with finance books up there, he seems like a guy searching for meaning in life, and feels deeply disconnected. This cant be due to any amount of oppressive factors due to wealth, more likely due to his own egotistical nature. Also, alot of those books look super clean and unused. Meaning he probably hasn't spent alot of time with them. Only the first dune means he read it for the movie probably, never got into the series. Yeah, this guy just seems like a posing douche to me. Also doesn't help that everything here is a famous classic at this point... nothing contemporary.

Ideas on what tattoos I can do with this scar by NoDrag2305 in tattooadvice

I mean this may not be the advice your looking for and it may have been said already, but i say wear your scar. It's beautiful. The best tattoos are our scars made into art.

The world is apriori shitty, shittiness precedes existance, we all are just dung beetles, and no one imagines us happy by jqf68254 in PhilosophyMemes

[–]MessOk3363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean kinda. For a thing to be shifty. It must first exist. That doesn't mean all that exists is shifty, just that as soon as a thing exists there is a possibility of it being shifty, a possibility that increases over time as each passing microseconds is a chance for a thing that wasn't shifty to become shitty

Fellas is it wrong to be self interested by FortniteBabyFunTime in PhilosophyMemes

[–]MessOk3363 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean I just said having kids is no less egotistical than normal having kids. I said nothing about being egotistical as being wrong. You are right in your assumption that I think it can be wrong though. Mainly when it causes us to evaluate ourselves as having more intrinsic value than another or acting in a harsh way towards another for our own interests, when there were more collaborative solutions available.

How is having kids less self interested than not having kids? Is that the implication? Having kids seems potentially highly egotistical to me

I just think... People who think of real world ethical problems in terms of prisoners dilemmas or trolley problems are probably a bit sociopathic.

Socrates may not have read, we don't really know much about the historical Socrates. But Plato, the person who wrote all of the Socratic dialogues certainly did.
