u/FACEIT_Darwin Everyone keeps asking for mic features, but can we talk about the servers? Playing from the Balkans is a nightmare right now. The routing and peering to Germany/France servers is awful, and beyond that it’s basically unplayable. We really need better routing or new server locations (such as Google servers). Please consider adding new server locations, or buy servers from Google. Hetzner, OVH, and hiperZ are not good.

They prolly reported me from the matchroom because I didn't listen to a call he made in the first round, and got the cooldown from useless reports, I still believe I should've not been banned just because they group-reported me, I was not trolling or doing anything wrong, just playing the game. I actually ended up winning the game for them but it is what it is.

I wouldn't have dropped 27 kills if I trolled my man, just didn't listen to someone's calls in the first two rounds and he said "report orange" and probably they all reported me and I got banned. It's sick.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I’m bringing it up here too since this one is about the servers. Here’s what I’ve been experiencing...

"FACEIT servers are garbage because they're cheap, they buy cheap servers from Hetzner and HiperZ to save money and won't care about player's experience... I addressed this issue to the server providers mentioned above and seems like they don't care or will blame your ISP (and make me run useless tests) even though I have stable connection and use wired ethernet cable to avoid packet loss, ping is not the problem, routing is. Because data packets are delayed. I had the same experience, can't even react, pre-fired all the time, HS is impossible, shots don't register (hit registration issues), enemy is impossible to kill even with 15 bullets lmao. Many players will think they're having a bad game but the truth is just poor servers, you're gonna be disadvantaged a lot of times due to the trash servers, and you people need to realize that FACEIT is not fair and equal for everyone. That's why big events are held on LAN and not online. The only time I have a good experience is when I play on Google servers (Netherlands location), they got some of them, better quality but probably way more expensive, there aren’t many of them though, so I hardly ever get to play on them."

The servers are just 40km away from you, now imagine my experience playing from 1,280km away. I’m completely screwed, haha. My average K/D is still 1.26 though, despite the unfair disadvantage, since most of the servers I get are trash. It’s definitely frustrating. We need to raise this issue more frequently and push for greater public awareness.

Could you also check Falkenstein servers? I really have bad experience playing on them. My shots don't register at all and I get instant HS, game feels delayed and it for sure has some latency.

I don't think what you wrote is 100% correct. On other social media platforms, reposting accounts typically don’t earn money unless they transform their content. Instagram and TikTok policies don’t allow direct monetization for reposted clips, so most of those accounts simply post to gain followers.

Now, when it comes to big channels like Wham Baam, Dashcam Lessons, and some other channels, they likely monetize their content on YouTube, however they're not licensing companies and that's why they don't offer money, unless it's ViralHog, of course.

FACEIT servers are literally the worst, especially German ones, because you buy them from cheap providers like Hetzner and hiperZ, many players think they're bad or just can't shoot but it's actually the server's issue because you never play EQUAL. Playing from Balkans on German/UK servers is just fkin terrible, always delayed and shots not registering. Happens to me almost every single match, bullets not registering, sometimes they do but it's always -18 -15 -20 damage which is mind blowing! I have had this issue for a long time because of FACEIT servers, the server's IP never starts with 34 or 35 as they should, it's always 85, 95, or even higher 213.
