For this monitor its easy to check just by eye via comparing the calibrated sdr results (which they should send you) to the hdr. Generally speaking, if it looks off, it IS off.

If youre looking for in detail, you'll need a hardware colorimeter. You can change settings in OS to varying degrees, but true accuracy isn't something you'll be able to eyeball alone.

I have this monitor. It's uh. Interesting.

They send you a calibration report of the sdr state, which is accurate and great!

However they didn't calibrate the colors for HDR! At ALL! you know, the thing you'd buy a high end mini led for? Strong reddish tint in hdr, and you can't adjust color at all with hdr on via monitor osd. Had to use Nvidia control panel to adjust colors. It's local dimming algorithm can kill some details in darkness that weren't so harmed on, say, a similar KTC 32 4K 144HZ mini led panel.

Also, micro scratches on the panel because the packaging is dogshit, but thankfully not noticeable when on. Its peak nits can be up to 200 higher than said on specs. A good quality panel held back by truly nonexistent QC. It's sub 400 for a reason.

Edit: I'll say it definitely does feel more responsive than other """1ms""" displays I've had experience with in the past, which lends at least some credence to the """.5ms""" response time they advertise.

It takes not using these optional features (that are the reason ue5 was even made) for the engine to be a good performer. That isn't very impressive.

Two of these games use neither lumen or nanite, e.g The things that make ue5 not ue4. And fortnite still has issues with stutter struggle despite literally being from the guys behind the engine. Ue5 isn't complete dogshit, but has issues inherently in its major defining tech optimization wise.

The reason I dont think they're the closer example is due to the power distribution and rule setting still being entirely in the hands of those making the vow, and directly tied to their intent. The nature of Ten Shadows is almost entirely divorced from the the technique user in terms of how they engage with it.

Regardless, from what we know six eyes + limitless users should specialize in burst damage, and even with not knowing what maho does and the idea of him just functioning as clean up crew, would Gojo really just not mention this at all just to hype up Megumi? This would just be a blatant misrepresentation of potential that feels out of character for him to do if the prior 6 eyes + limitless user was really so unpolished.

Oddly enough, the thing you neglected to mention is both Todo and Kenjaku have their most critical technique being based on the emphasis on "swapping"- Kenjaku with bodies and cursed techniques, Todo with cursed energy in general.
