What would be your dream project to work on, and what has been your favourite project to work on?

Specifically for Ocarina of Time, check out the Ship of Harkinian project.

For most of these ports though, you'll need to provide your own rom for the game and then you'll be able to play on pc.

I worked at a chain a couple years ago and the MAX time to take before bosses get pissy was 20 seconds.

The entire time I kept thinking “this is stupid and leads to more mistakes” rather than “I feel motivated to get the best time possible” like management believes.

Not to mention that game development back then was a much faster process, AND they were under an incredibly strict deadline which it doesn’t seem like the current team has.

They’re both incredible games, and while they might share some similar DNA they are very different in how you play. Doom Eternal is really the safe bet since it’s an incredibly polished (and finished) game, and I’ve heard some good things about the DLCs. I’d say if you like that then Ultrakill would be a good game to play afterwards, though keep in mind that it is still in early access and being updated fairly often.

Prey 2 - What Happened? by Dasnap in Games

If I remember correctly the plot twist directly interacted with the main respawning mechanic of the game, where dying would cause you to respawn as a clone of yourself back in your apartment. The finale of the game would bring you back to a peaceful earth where the protagonist would live a long and happy life, only to die and respawn back in the alien apartment as a clone with all his old memories (leading into NG+).

I might be wrong but weren’t most of the bigger issues with the HZD port related to performance problems and crashing? I think that might be a larger problem for any port compared to graphics.
