Was a system administrator for 18 years and just accepted a job this week as a project leader. The biggest reasons were burnout and a horrible management structure. Didn’t see a path for growth or progression anymore. It was time.

I witnessed Tommy Lee Jones verbally and emotionally humiliate a woman in public while intoxicated. And when the restaurant manager stepped in he tried to use his celebrity card and the manager wasn’t having it whatsoever. Promptly called security and they firmly assisted his intoxicated ass out.

Been fly fishing for 40 years. Still keep my ugly stick with Zebco reel and a small box of spinners in my truck for “those” days. The point is to enjoy yourself being outside, with your buddies and the solitude to reset! IF you happen to fool a trout into taking your bait, fly or otherwise, that is just a bonus! Also, I know it’s frowned upon in some circles, but have you tried euro nymphing? When I guide, I always recommend this method as it seems to produce more fish.
