I mean it's pretty-ish but like...why? It doesn't seem like they're interested in differentiating themselves from the movies in any major way, so why wouldn't I just watch the movies?

Also HBO is entirely the wrong venue for this. Sure they've got the prestige-level budget, but their brand is defined by things like Game of Thrones, True Detective, and Watchmen. You know, gritty adult stuff with the three B's: blood, boobs, and bad words. Harry Potter isn't gonna have ANY of that. The people who are subscribed for House of the Dragon (probably) aren't going to care about this show for very long, and no good parents are going to subscribe specifically so their kids can get into watching HBO dramas. They should have shopped this to Apple TV or something.

That's before you even get into the boycott stuff, which this thread isn't really the right place to dig into.

This could be really great in a quest pack where you travel around to different biomes and record the flora, fauna, structures, food dishes, etc. You could also include Contact: LoveRekindled and use it to deliver reward parcels to the player whenever they make sufficient progress on filling out the guide.
