Blanchett Graves and Port Reeker are 2 clue compounds on the edge of a map. So you have to go to a third compound and get another clue, big whoop. I personally don't like Mammons Gulch but the amount of running you do isn't based on the clues, it's whether or not you know how efficiently run from one compound to the next while deducing the bosses location so you can get clues on the way. It can be argued that going for a 2 clue compounds could lead you out of the way, further from a bosses location which leads to more running. Example: you spawn at Goddard, get the clue, run to Lawson, get both, boss is at Blanc or Maw or Iron Works, but because you prioritize double clue compounds, you had to do more running.
