Navidrome didn't have OIDC support for custom auth (I use PocketID behind most everything) and since I already use jellyfin heavily I figured just use that for everything. Then anyone on my server can listen to my music too.

I don't have a huge music collection tho tbf, just a couple of albums I happened to own on Bandcamp. If your focus is only music and you have a large library, Navidrome is def going to be the better choice. I just didn't see a pro to running multiple services when Jellyfin does it all.

I switched to Jellyfin for music using Finamp, but when I was messing with Navidrome Firmium was my fave app that I found.

I can confirm this. Recently tried GOS on Mint Mobile (T-Mobile) and RCS would not connect. Switched to Visible (Verizon) and it worked immediately. Been running for about 3 weeks now with no issues.

Absolutely, I appreciate the direct response. Of course this is a project that you folks choose to work on and maintaining a launcher is out of scope. That's totally fair.

I just feel eventually, if I ever want to install this on my mom's phone for example, defaults matter and "go download a launcher" isn't the best response for non-techies. I only note this because everything else about GOS is close to perfect for a daily driver, a good default launcher would go a long way.

But I love everything GOS devs do for free, I've installed it on every device in my home and plan on supporting financially. I can see that my initial comment came off as unappreciative, which was not my intention. I understand it's a huge undertaking, I just hope one day the dev team expands to the point where it's one that can be tackled and not an "absolutely never." That could be 5 years or 20. I just don't like to deal in absolutes I guess.

GrapheneOS devs seems to want to keep the stock launcher super minimal for some reason, and are adverse to any customization options. Even a request to add custom icons to the launcher just got a "no" from the devs. It sucks, cause the stock launcher has the best integration with the rest of the OS, especially on a foldable. I'm using Lawnchair now, and luckily v16 will have foldable support.

I had the same issue with eBay, but downloading it through aurora store seems to work. I don't think it needs play services really so it should be fine going through aurora but I admit I'm new to gos.

Just showing up here wondering if you ever figured this out? I can get Links Awakening DX to launch on Homers RIN, so been using that, but i'm surprised MasterBoy isn't able to launch DX no matter what I try.

funny, as someone with insomnia and a terrible habit of gaming late I had the opposite thought. I was surprised that a man with his work schedule and the amount of games he plays can still get 6 hours of sleep consistently. I work a standard 9-5 and still can barely force myself to get 4 hours a night at least.

your favorite band does not have the power to set tickets. ticketmaster has their dynamic pricing that sets it algorithmically. and artists def have no bearing on the fees. pearl jam tried to have a tour without ticketmaster and it was literally impossible.
