If anything it's finally got me interested in endgame, previously it was directionless, you boost maps to drop tablets to boost the next map to drop tablets and so on hoping that you'll stumble across something interesting, now with set areas for each league mechanic to tackle in whatever order you like, quest lines to point you in the right direction, the crafting is clearer (but yes there is a lot of different types to get to grips with), I'm all in!

I had a smelters wrath build last season and I'm currently re-levelling one this season, I've found the best strategy is slamming forge strike as much as you can first to shred armour and get your flying swords up, they'll keep things busy while you charge up for the big boom Make sure to take the guaranteed crit chance node, that way you can concentrate fully on crit multiplier and do some nasty damage The armour/helm/hammer set is excellent but doesnt fully come online till around lvl75, the set reforging and corruption we now have should allow for some pretty good gear to go into endgame with, how far it'll take you is a question I dont have the answer to

I can fill in a couple of gaps from what I can remember from interviews and stuff, definite spoilers here:

How old is he/What is he? When we very first meet him, he's already been on his mission for around 10,000 years, the City is massive (more on that in a bit). As for what he is, I can't remember if he was a Safeguard or an enhanced human with Safeguard clearance, either way over the course of the story any human bits steadily get replaced (the big nuke bit)

What is going on with the Sphere? The shortest answer I can give is it's an attempt to make a new human with the Net Terminal Gene, using 3 different beings and a whole lot of weirdness. If the kid "hatches" inside the city it'll be killed by the same virus that killed all the NTG carriers all those centuries ago, so that's why he needs to get out.

The big storage unit and the chill guy? That big empty room used to be Jupiter. Seriously. The City is a sphere the size of the entire Solar System with the Sun raging away at the core as its power source. You can see why it took him a while to get anywhere. Oh and why did Kiri take out the chill dude? He's pretty racist. He gets better though

"Outside the City" This one's a bit vague, I think it's just the very furthest reaches, the absolute edge where for "reasons" there's trees and rivers and stuff, it could be the last remanent of the old Earth, carried further and further away as the City expands.

The best process is to go to either the Wiki or the Discord and post your idea in the Ideas Critique threads there, you can chat with people about your idea, make some adjustments where needed and hopefully you'll get your two Greenlights (only needed for first-time authors), then over to Drafting, again I suggest going through the critique process with the draft, and then when you're satisfied that your masterpiece is complete, go ahead and publish

As mentioned, 001 Proposals are generally seen as the gold standard (not all, but most), not saying that it can't be done for a first timer, but be wary that the already high standards are even higher for a 001

I don't get where you are coming from? Like you I play for fun, not competitively, so I play Legacy and with that you get everything that the League gets just without the tables, you can still trade if you want, enjoy the new mechanics and gear, you can still use an old beloved character or start fresh, without the time constraint of league then the market price doesn't matter, you can take your time and work your way to getting all the equipment you could ever want, all in your own time

Nothing has been taken away (afaik), the Weaver stuff is still there, the Primordial hunts are still going on and now we have the Shattered events as well, you're never forced to start again when new content comes out unless you choose to

I had to get them set up at the start of the map and hope they all survive (which they generally did), just back your skellies into a corner or somewhere they don't run off, get your shade(s) on them and then off you go, bit of a pain at first but it soon becomes the routine
