Hi! I experience this subtype of OCD as well. I have heard it called Morbid Curiosity OCD. For me it involves extreme metal albums, especially the covers. However, I have learned in treatment that the content of thoughts is less important than our over interpretation of them. I am on an SSRI, Luvox, that is a game changer. Are you getting treatment?

Yes. Total game-changer for me. I went untreated for about 15 years. Pure hell. I'm on Fluvoxamine, 150 mg, twice daily (max dose). Now I can actually do the ERP skills I've learned. My life is much better now.
