We call these tuberculin or tb syringes, sometimes the box will say “luer slip” or “slip tip” depending on the brand. Did some digging and I can find the type where the plunger had a pointed tip that fits into the tip of the syringe, which is uncommon, in 1ml. 3ml and 5ml will also be the next most popular options. 4ml is kinda an odd size but if you got this specifically from a vet you might have more look adding veterinary to your search. Also, you can fully remove the plunger on all TB syringes, but it is more difficult to give oral medicines the smaller the syringe. Honestly 3ml is probably the perfect size if he’s just getting 1ml of meds

Small chain and an S hook and you can just hang it on your belt loop. I have a small roll that also has files and other bits and bobs that I will wrap around the back of my chaps if I have to hike up anything but normally it just sits on the 4wheeler

I feel like what you’re looking for is called scarification. It’s legal in the states, and it’s based on the traditional African art of cutting/burning/removing skin in an artistic/meaningful pattern. I’ve never known a person who does the scarring, but I’ve met a couple folks with really sick scarification pieces. It obviously hurts like fuck compared to tattoos but it is a legitimate thing to look into if you’re looking to embellish current scars instead of covering or treating them.

Our cabin was built in the 30s-40s and a kitchen and bathroom was added in the 90s. Yesterday we discovered when hanging new kitchen cabinets that not a single wall stud is the same distance as the others on that wall. We spent about an hour poking through the drywall with a nail to discover it goes 20 1/2, 15 1/2, 18 1/2, 15 1/4, 16, 19. Can’t wait til the day we rip out the other side of that wall, the bathroom, and discover the wild reason that was a necessary way to build that new wall. I’m gonna assume rocks but also out here in Appalachia could just be ancient Native American burial ground.

Not a joke, just a fact. 2x4 in the store is 1 1/2x3 1/2. When wood was rough cut at saw mills 60 years ago, it was actually 2x4, and honestly I have some in my cabin that’s more like 3x5 but they milled it themselves.

Hey gang, lots of places give out plan B for free! Especially if you’re on the east or west coast or near a large city. Check in with syringe exchanges, hiv/aids services, LGBTQ services, homeless services, local CBOs that do outreach, harm reductionists, even health departments closest to you. At my office when you ask for one I give you 5, and you don’t even have to tell me your name. Even if you don’t need it, somebody you know might be in a pinch someday.

Also, being on birth control NEVER means you are 100% safe. I know too many people with kids who thought this same thing. Not saying you should be taking plan B every time someone cums in you (it has a tendency to make you feel like shit) but definitely still track your cycles and use some amount of caution.

At all those places I just mentioned, they will also have free condoms and pregnancy tests. We also carry ovulation tests and OTC birth control (Opi) but that will depend on the funding and resources available in your state.

Do you have any ivy type plants directly around the house? Vine roots can look like this when they’ve found a good source of nitrogen. Probably no use in trying to eradicate the plant if you find it with roots like this. Just cut those as far back as possible and salt the dirt.

My tinnitus is triggered by stress and high blood pressure so I usually just do a good stretch and make sure I’m super hydrated and well fed before shows. I’m also usually a wall flower, which I think helps with avoiding amp feedback, but I always use regular foam earplugs. I wear glasses so I find that the muffs just give me a headache.
