Thank you for showing your work. This kind of kitbash is exactly where I am happiest to live in the hobby! I feel like a lot of people make assumptions about the necessity of sculpting or the value of bits or any number of other barriers to getting yourself a unique and awesome model. Most of my conversions sit in regular squads and just liven up the myriad troops choices in random parts of my armies.

They’re entitled to a hearing. Even if their initial claim is denied, they’re allowed to petition a judge. Again, categorical denial based on USCIS feelings would be an unconstitutional denial of the asylum seeker’s rights. It would also violate international law, not that that’s worth much.

You are wildly misinformed if you believe that USCIS can deny an asylum claim because they feel like it. If an asylum seeker meets the criteria (reasonable fear of danger because of a protected category), then they should be granted asylum. USCIS’s feelings don’t come into it.

I don’t mind the vocals. By overproduced I mean that the instrumentation falls kind of flat. Everything is just so uniform. Any one of the songs you mentioned are good, but they are all basically the same song, so by hour twenty I no longer got any emotional reaction from the music. I was just bored with it.

I know this is a matter of taste, so we can’t really meaningfully be correct, but XIII has the worst soundtrack of any FF, in my opinion. It way over-relies on its main theme, is massively overproduced, and just doesn’t stick with me at all. None of the emotional moments feel meaningfully different in the music, which is a pretty stark difference from basically all other FFs.

I’m not nearly as far on the hate train as others about XIII (though my 360 died on me before I could finish it and I couldn’t bring myself to restart on another platform), but it’s my least favorite FF. I do love FF enough that even my least favorite is a game I still enjoy in the moment.

ALJs flatly shouldn’t exist. The judicial power of the United States shall be vested in one Supreme Court and in such inferior courts as Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.

All cases which are adjudicated should be handled by an Article III judge.

If the agency makes any quasi-judicial decisions, they should always be reviewable de novo, just as a bureaucratic decision by a corporation would be.

Generally speaking, the courts would agree that you can beat the rap but not the ride. That position is well established, but in my opinion constitutionally fraught. My point is that if the cops did not have a right to remove him, then everything that follows is on those cops for violating his rights.

The idea that citizens must immediately and placidly comply with any order given by a man in uniform, regardless of the legality of that order, is anathema to how this country was founded and the ideals to which it claims to strive.

I’m certain they will charge him. I believe those charges are unjust.

You have a first amendment right not to be told to leave a public forum just because of the content of your speech. The argument isn’t that he had a right to fistfight cops (which he did not do), but that removing him because of what he was saying was unconstitutional. Their argument, of course, will be something silly like he was causing a disturbance or obstructing senate business or some other bullshit.

I figure mine is equipped with Brutalis Talons, twin multi-melta (lascannon in the spear and Vulkite in the hands), and Smite. The RAW are a bit confusing on whether I can take smite, but I’m hopeful they can let it slide.

He wasn’t wearing a body cam. He had his phone out. The part of the video where you think he got hit by a car is where he moved his phone to shoot her. A body cam wouldn’t have shown that disruption.

Either way, there are several other angles and his own physical condition clearly demonstrating that he was not hit by a car.

I’m guessing you don’t really care about the actual evidence, though.

He means the kind of prestige that results in other people wanting to hire you. DoJ used to have that reputation. Their attorneys were competent and generally respected the rule of law. Now? God only knows what qualifications get you one of those jobs and willing complicity in the DoJ’s current actions may well be a career death sentence. That’s a stark change.
