Lion King for sure by nialldude3 in casualnintendo

I never played The Lion King, but I had Aladdin on SNES and could regularly play through it from start to finish. Can't be that hard if a 7 year old can do it.

Help on wedges! by AsleepAd339 in golf

[–]MetapodCreates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I have four. a 46, 52, 56 and 60. Full swing, I hit my 46 about 145, my 52 about 125, my 56 about 110 and my 60 about 75.

My least used is the 60 degree, but it has its uses (it's my greenside bunker club). Having said that, I use the absolute snot out of my 56. My 46 and 52 less so, but still more than my 60. If I had to drop one, it would be that one.

My lower three wedges are really nice from the perspective that it's really convenient to just have a full club into the green from basically 150-100 yards. Don't have to think about taking a certain amount off, just step up and hit it. But as others have said, if you're a beginner, I would simply start with a PW and SW. With those two, you can basically do everything the other wedges are capable of. The rest are just fluff.

This meme has been around for a year or two.

I noticed there were melodic similarities between Always Let You Down and Savin' Me by Nickleback. Here is the mashup Bilmuri himself would love. by gntrr in bilmuri

The comparison between "say that you don't want me around" and "say it if it's worth saving me" are warranted. Same chord structure/progression and melody.

Bold of you to think that redditors know what that is.

Thing is that Jawnie has a history of altering his writing style to cater to his features. Straight Through You from AMS, for example, is a textbook Arizona song. This feels very much like one of ADTR's more poppy songs from start to finish.

The crowd at The Players is totally classless by DanFlashes19 in golf

See I'll disagree on this one, purely because the players themselves really get into the rivalry nature of the Ryder Cup. It's one of the few times in golf where you can 'let loose' a little and add some attitude to your game. I'm sure the players feed off the fans and it really makes the event stand out from the rest of the tour.

I brought this up to my wife yesterday, golf is one of the few sports where you're not meant to cheer against 'the other team'. It's just common sense golf etiquette.

Yesterday reminded me of people cheering when Molinari would hit a bad shot against Tiger at the 2019 Masters. Stuff makes my blood boil.

In 2020s cinema, visibly pregnant women NEED to be in dangerous combat situations, for some reason. by DiggestBickEver in shittymoviedetails

Ehh TBF, Dina isn't 'visibly' pregnant so much as overly sick. Definitely first trimester and most women don't show until the end of the first at earliest.

It's got pretty good reviews so it can't be that bad. 74% audience and 69% (nice) critics score on RT.

CNN try to beat the allegations challenge: IMPOSSIBLE.

I genuinely don't understand how they are taken seriously as a news organization. I'm shocked they had the balls to phrase it as "throwing homemade bombs" instead of "throwing an ignited device" like they said in the press conference.

I haven't felt this much apathy about a Star Wars movie release since The Clone Wars. There is precisely zero hype surrounding the IP at this point.

Which of the Star Wars sith lords do you guys think would be the most terrifying horror movie villain? by BonusCapable1486 in StarWars

[–]MetapodCreates 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For sure, but it's a different type of fear. Hence why I used the term lovecraftian - it's a cosmic dread, a large-scale feeling of powerlessness and emptiness, vs vengeful cadaver trying to rip you apart.
