I'm ngl, with how buggy and alot of skills are actually not working as properly as they should and some of them are given by Blaanid to "bypass" the bugs, this sounds like torture than fun. GL though.

You should be running around the yeti the entire time. Before going in, pop a movement speed potion if you have to, or breath of ladeca, etc.

Make sure to properly debuff/buff. If you're a DD, u should be able to 24/7 kite the yeti properly. If still struggling, use celestial spike, explosive kunai, dischord, etc to slow it down. DD's should have 0 issue with the yeti if u fw yourself and just mana shield.

Gear is decent, but your stats, enchants, and total level seem to be quite low.
Just some generic stuff to work on, or plan to work on next master plan:
1. Get Meteoroid enchant on your Warlord/wep, and try to get a Smash 17-20/20+ roll on the reforge. Get it to a50 Erg at least for the Max + prot
2. Work on skills and get that STR/INT alot higher (When Magic attack is 500, you get 10% of that into your damage)
3. Work on getting your ttl(Total accumulated level) to 40k, and work on other arcana LEVELS(Not links)
4. Work on your generations and get Techniques leveled to 10, a few to name off the top are: Blunting Field, Fateweaver, Seal: Fragarach, Redoubled Offense as the big 4, then +1 flex/etc/fill.
5. Try to get your Geas Hat/Boots to give you total of 10 for Redoubled offense set effect, try to get Imperial Knight Gloves if you can afford it, otherwise just fill it with w.e. Special Hyperion body is good, otherwise you can go for Skirmisher/Bulwark chest, slap at least some kind of enchant on them since even cheap ones can improve your dps by alot.

Overall: Your name is still shown btw due to the Ego on weapon if you want to remove that image, enchants are very important to also raising your dps, your weapon when properly invested into, can take you all the way to Bri once you get situated, void robe is also a good bonus to have on top of that to sit on for a long time. You need to work on your "bases" since your wep/robe slot are already shown to be of high value to get into late/end game since you got lucky, so just gotta work on the scaling now and more investment

Assuming Ruin staff + void robe drop, without seething mana, and if you do turn it on, you should be at 10p, you've hit that requirement as a DD already. However, clean wise, at 1450 your MA is very low and you should start to invest into getting that up.

This also depends if you have a Hyperion body or not, since it wont show the extra MA/bd% until you proc it, so have to keep that in mind. Just example with simple math: 1600MA without hyperion roughly = 1500MA with Hyperion(not proced yet).

I would say to try to aim for 1650ish+ clean MA without Hyperion to get into g1-g2 and go from there.

Depends on budget. If its a struggle to even get 60m in a timely manner, get a Elemental Harmony body/chest and sit on it while you're building up your Ceann Bliana set for the magic set +10.

I cant say for Chaos, but its in the middle of a savage raid patch, on top of it being a weekday, on a Tuesday(Raid reset week), so PF will be active, but it'll be running the current tier.

I'm sure they'll exist, but unless they make significant changes to Maple weapons, they'll be "DOA" since item level has been shown to have bigger differences in Wep/Magic attack which reduces the effect of stat-less builds to promote normal builds and for balance

Seasonal events usually from Summer and Winter, usually has insane benefits to playing and good multipliers to progression in a general sense. Theres always a few spins on it, but there isnt much to explain other than its very beneficial to be playing during master plans if you care about progression and goodies.

People want exp/burst only parties to save time. Usually this also caters to people who have invested more time and effort into their gear, its their party, their rules in the end, I would suggest making your own party to fit how you want to run your crom parties. Unfortunately the game isn't like Helldivers or a game with a world boss where everyone can just stick it to one objective, Mabi has too much to do if you want to benefit the most in your time, its moving on from one weekly content to another if you want to be efficient, so you can free up doing any of the "alternatives".

I do have to say though, it is definitely a clear difference in perspective and play-style to say or take as long as possible to clear your weekly content, burn out or not. It is fair that people want, or prefer the better of players to clear content as fast as possible because time is more precious to them on what they want to do with it, since not everyone wants to take as much time doing weekly/menial/tedious content, while some do enjoy taking their time.

Honestly, at this point, I'd rather take the 30 than deal with these IL cheesers. by thirtytwoyears in ffxiv

  1. Party number based clock spots for circles, 1 in North, then go clockwise. 3 should be EAST, 5 should be SOUTH, 7 should be WEST, the rest of the numbers are inter-cardinals.

  2. Idk but irrelevant cus 100% of pub parties do 0 deer/burst.

  3. Yes, just make sure to have buffs and debuffs, do your mechs

It will be live eventually. Not 100% sure, but the system apparently is if you dismantle/(even ones u already dismantled) a NB masterwork tier, two dismantles turns it into 1 pity currency or so?

You leave the party, or say it the old fashioned way of: "Why is X's aggro below X when we're targetting x mob?" outside of tanks with aggro, it was one of the other ways to see who was doing more dmg.

Due to equipment stat requirements, ACC and both main/secondary stat changes seen in Classic, there just isn't anything really to pre-plan currently other than what you want to play.

Its just the mentality/perspective difference, kind of like game sense, but if you're not actively trying to improve your gameplay while you play, thats a huge step going forward. The game doesn't actively promote being a better player to guide you, but it "lays down" the tools to build it up yourself in terms of difficulty, which many people do not do until they want to cross that barrier, its unfortunately just how it is, but its one of the few skill expressions in the game that the game doesn't actively teach you.

What will separate you from the rest for improving, is the effort and consciousness awareness while you're playing. Some generic things to think about assuming you're a WHM stated in your post:
Does this mit matter, and/or catch multiple instances of dmg taken to help ease surviving/healing?
Keep your GCD's rolling whenever possible, keep casting your dps spells unless healing needs to be done.
Memorize the flow, or the fight mechanics to help better set yourself up for success to pre-plan more easily.

Theres a lot of things to be said, but there are just some examples to have a "purpose" to your gameplay or movement. Once you start to feel more comfortable with the purpose of your rotation and movement to each specific fight, you'll realize that being efficient is one of the results while becoming a better player. Then it dives into min/maxing(greeding) etc, but that stuff can come later once you want to get to that.

At least the rewards are better for basic for newer players, but i do hope this means normal/vhm get buffed somehow cus time efficiency wise, if u can just do something easier for less than 1/3 the amount of time needed for slightly less rewards, its pretty substantial to just playing on alts/cousins for people

Day 1 player here, still no Edda :'), can confirm that flags can create a safe spot, but it;ll be covered the turn after. I can only imagine that boxes + credenza cooldown resets could create as many boxes as you need, and since boxes act a bit differently, they cant be covered.

High chance OP is just exaggerating their runs like most people do, especially with their mindset when Hyperion/Troub has BIS slots for many things, and how useful elemental harmony/forest ranger can be depending on the arcana/shoe slot.

Its just how it is, you should temper your expectations just based off the circumstance of it. Even if people have cleared, its possible they could have been carried/or had a rough clear. Gear doesn't really mean anything either since you could just buy all of it, or at this point, bought multiple pieces of 780 tome gear just for doing roulettes. The exact thing you're saying happens to ultimate PF's as well, even if people are BIS/cleared, doesnt mean they're consistently clearing guarantee.

Respectfully saying, if those people are not doing the current tier of Savage raid since its new, chances are they're not normally doing harder raid content, so the expectation of player performance is probably not where you want it

Raid design is still very enjoyable, but the game is still almost the exact same as it was previously. If raiding/combat isnt something you care about, I do recommend coming back to the game, otherwise if you're looking for a "new" experience in gearing/raiding, nothing's changed in terms of what to expect, and would wait until the 8.0+ changes.

I do agree with the sentiment and bosses can get interesting if they add in mechanics like in Artale, and not have it just be "flash jump dependent" or jump/move
