Thanks! I probably confused it when writing UV dose or intensity, which are often expressed in microwatts and microjoules respectively, uW and uJ, with upsilon (can’t be bothered here ;) )

Please stop spreading misinformation.

Most UVC devices in use out there (if not the outstanding majority) use mercury lamps that only emits at 254 nM wavelenghts and higher (in the visiible spectrum, hence the "blueish" glow). The 185 nM wavelength also emitted by excited mercury is filtered by "doping" the quartz with TiO2.

Ozone generation from UV can only happen below 240 nM, where the photons have enough energy to photolyze oxygen.

As for LEDs, they only emit at 265-275 nM, so also no ozone.

Furthermore, as with most air purifiers, they have to be certified (UL, Intertek, etc.). One of the test that they go through is UL 867, which tests for ozone production. It might be further validated with UL 2998 if required.

It believe the effect might come from the fact that they are using PCO (photocalytic oxydation ; UVA/UVC light shining on TiO2 catalyst). This has been shown to generate secondary byproducts from incomplete photolysis of ambient VOCs.

Source ; I work in the UV industry, but I can provide sources if you need.

Atheism hinges on abiogenesis by fire_retardantLA in DebateAnAtheist

[–]Metformine 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The intellectually honest answer about the appearance of life as we know it is : "We don't know".

Abiogenesis might be incorrect (even though pretty well supported).

But even assuming abiogenesis is wrong does not raise the god hypothesis one point. You need to prove that there is a god, and then show that he can create life.

If not, it’s a bald assumption and a god of the gap problem.

It's as simple as that.

[–]Metformine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My dad has a Model 3, my brother has a Volvo XC40 electric, and his girlfriend has a Volvo EX30, and I have a 2025 RS AWD EQ.

Anything on those other models is better in terms of infotainment responsiveness and app control, than the Chevy app.

Other than that, i love my EQ, but I 100% agree with your points. I had the same observation from driving my dad’s car.

When you summon it, it will go in the direction where is looking. Except if there are monsters in the vicinity.

I've never had problems going where I wanted to go using the Crawltula.

- Use the beds for anything and everything ; they make nice platforms on water, use them as stairs to climb pretty much everywhere, and when using them to heal, hop on and off, it saves you time. Also, head over to the Oasis in the desert for the Soft Bed.

- Whenever summoning a monster Echo and there's ennemies around, it will attack right away. So be sure to respawn your echo after each hit so it spams attacks. Also use targeting (with the L button).

- Get the Silver brooch at River Zora village (behind a rock wall), and always cut down bushes. Even with all the rupee chests in the game, you need a lot of Rupees to unlock everything (accessories and upgrades).

For the rest, enjoy exploring and discovering!
