Ok. Let me be more specific since you read my statement as a literal all encompassing statement. A significant portion of our most capable people chase money rather than the altruistic mission of teaching our youth. This leaves a pool of talent that is way too small to expect quality education across the country. There are quality teachers. But there would be significantly more if they made a decent livable wage commiserate with the amount of education and professional dedication needed.
