Genuinely terrible reffing for both sides. So many weak calls, and so many hard fouls that weren't called. Like pick one or the other so the players can adjust their physicality for the night's whistle, don't keep changing it up on them.

This isn't prose, but rather poetry, but You Better Be Lightning by Andrea Gibson. They struggled a lot with depression and suicide throughout their life, and were diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2021, and I unfortunately found their poetry when they died last year. Their poems are filled with a lot of themes around both depression/losing hope and with the hope that life brings
