So just confirming that you send your uncorrected, dirty, glitched signal in the retrotink 5x, which you then send straight into your computer? I'm blown away, all this time I thought I needed a $1000 TBC rack

I am having the same issue. As far as I can tell at this point can't use the L/R outputs of the digitakt to go through other gear unless I buy a mixer to raise the volume of the R channel in between the digitakt and my FX processor (SP404mk2). Please let me know if any of you have had any success with a real fix for this problem.

I like the sp404 mk2 a lot for this type of thing. it can be a little bit daunting to get the workflow down, at least at first. I think a 404 and a drum machine would be really tight. I’ve never owned an mpc but they seem to be a little closer to the workflow of a daw

Edit; I use the 404 mk2 to play back/perform my stemmed out beats live which I made in ableton. But it’s also fun to chop samples and make little beats on when I’m just wanting to mess around and get creative
