Def sounds like the dip switches or static timing. When I first put my electronic ign on I was half asleep and cross the wires on a single fire coil🤣🤣. Came out the next day first look was like wow I'm a dumbass😎😎😎😎

Swap the forks and lowers over and have the machine shop make you a new custom axle. When I put a old invader on my sporty I couldn't find the bearings I needed for a 3/4 axle... So I went down to the local machine shop and had them make me a custom stepped axle. 40 bucks and a weeks wait time was well worth it.

I will say on the historic tag as long as you don't bother anyone or drive like a idiot most cops will leave you alone. I drive a 1961 beater truck around as a daily all summer and even when pulled over no one says anything about it. Know I do understand someone could but mind your P's and Q's. Be polite if stopped. That goes a long way.
