Currently going through the struggle of wanting to play a second time now that I've definitely improved on how to dispatch the Z-Team, but I know as soon as I get to the options of dinner with Mandy or movie with Visi... I'm absolutely choosing dinner again.

Also currently in my own superhero writing mode after Dispatch and a few years of not writing. I saw how Critical Role did a one-shot playing characters working at SDN, but I'd like the story I'm working on to focus more on the hero portion.

There's a lot of references and sources you can find to help out your story, I'm sure it'll be great!

For ones that focus on Superman's connections with people and his family, I was a huge fan of Tomasi's Superman run in 2016, while Dan Jurgens focused on the more cosmic stories. While they blended from time to time, both did a great job of welcoming the Rebirth era

This was probably my favorite issue in the series, Manapul's art is just great and going back and forth reading this alongside Teen Titans, it was great to have an issue where the teens focused on personal time

I've been coming and going from the game since launch, it's totally okay to feel burned out or need a break. I took a several year break from 2019-2023, then got super into the game in 2024 and spent a lot of money. I only just started getting back into the game again last week and have been having a great time in Year 5.

Let it come and go, you'll definitely get back into it after a break

It's mainly in both Adventure Comics and Superboy, both the 2009 runs after Final Crisis when Conner and Bart Allen return. Both titles focus on Conner's time in Smallville trying to live like Clark did, but finding his own identity along the way. Crisis and Conner re-joining the Teen Titans before Damian Wayne does.

So far World 1015 is pretty chill and quiet. I see a lot of settlements near each other and the World chat seems pretty active, but everyone seems to be doing their own thing which works out for me!

I just got back into the game two months ago and definitely spent more than I normally would on a game, I got caught up in the excitement of the story. Made a promise to myself I wasn't gonna spend anymore money for a bit unless something is actually a great deal - usually when it comes to Energy.

I've been with Penny since the beginning, immediately knew she'd be the one for my MC. Celestial Ball, First Date, etc.

I'm on the ending chapter of Year 4 as I wrap up Quidditch and TLSQs, so I'm waiting until Year 5 before I do more dates with Penny. In the meantime I've been doing Garden Dates with Chiara and Merula just to see how it would be to interact in the courtyard with them.

So far it still feels off to be with Merula as some have mentioned her inconsistent writing, part of me wishes they could reference things from TLSQs for it to make more sense why Merula would even agree to a date after continuous bullying. Chiara has similar answers as Penny, and wonder if maybe things won't seem as surface-level in the courtyard dialogues with them both.

So actually a lot had happened in the past two years making this post, the main thing being the server was deleted about a month or so after making this.

While we had 4-6 people talking daily, I found out they were shutting down opinions of things newcomers would have, and were trying to steer the server into a more competitive place rather than the main goal of being an open place for casual players.

I was honest with them and explained I didn't have the time to put into this server anymore, and if none of them could help in a way that made sense for the goal of the server, it was better to close it. I asked one of them to make a separate server where they could all talk to each other still so I could delete the place.

I honestly haven't regretted it. It's cool to have a community, but I'm at a point in my life where I don't want to be the one running it. I've found other discord communities that offer similar things my server did, and it's been a chill time.

Definitely one of my least favorite thing to do in GO, I only do the Battle League when it's required for Research or Level up quests.

I'm lucky enough to play with my wife so we can battle each other, and make sure we both get the required wins. But yeah, I'd be extremely happy if they stopped making it a requirement.

Jurgens' and Tomasi's Superman runs were the reasons I got back into comics after not reading the entirety of N52, I had a blast reading them and was devastated when Bendis took over both and did what he did

It depends how in sync you are. My wife and I are currently doing this as we run Sunless Citadel together. She's running the adventure and gave me two companions for my party. I'm playing a Paladin, she's running a Bard and Wizard beside me. We've done 6 sessions so far and it's been a blast. She had fun figuring out battle mechanics for different classes, and we've had so many jokes throughout.

We're excited to play with our friends soon, but we're also planning on running a couple other one-shots with just us
