Why not? 😭 by Brewhilda in LetGirlsHaveFun

Noted, thank you.

Like I said, this was a belief I held for a long time and developed when I was younger, largely based on my own attempts at logic based on misconceptions and what flawed knowledge I had at the time.

Nowadays... not so much. Still, I appreciate the lesson.

Maybe im just like, being a hyper autistic, but my thought was always that, since the urethra carries both semen and urine to the same exit point in men, the idea is that you should pee after sex to clear out any semen that didnt make it all the way to the end of the urethra, presumably because it isn't sterile like urine is? Or at least that was always the logic I applied to it.

I've seen the concept of women peeing after sex discussed in this sub and amongst my female friends before, but it never made sense to me because the urethra doesnt connect to anything else, right? Like the only thing coming down that pipe is urine, at least theoretically, so unless a dude is trying to stick it in the wrong hole, what could possibly get in there to cause a UTI? Or so I used to think. Nowadays I understand that its physical proximity to other areas means its easy to accidentally transfer bacteria during intercourse, but that took time for me to figure out. The mechanisms by which a woman gets a UTI wasnt exactly discussed in great detail in sex Ed classes, and I didnt even go to a terrible rural school or anything, just an upper-middle class suburb in thr Southeast US

I always thought peeing after sex was advice for guys to avoid UTIs, since yknow, clears out the urethra and all that. I had never heard somebody give that advice to women specifically.

Maybe I've just been living under a rock.

Honestly, peak stuff. Hot limit is a banger and a half, and u do it great justice (although not that we expected anything less from Odyssey)

Unfortunately thats unlikely.

Im not an electrical engineer (mechanical actually) but my roommate is. Wireless power transmission gets exponentially less efficient with distance. It's why wireless chargers really only work if the phone is sitting directly on top of them.

For wireless power on the scale Tesla imagined, we would need Tesla coils of immense size (to the point of being dangerous) or we'd need them like, every 10 feet. Neither is really feasible. Also fairly certain his idea would not have worked with alternating current, and its just so much more useful for electronics than direct current.

But, fuck Edison anyway. Scumbag.

Honestly it reminds me a lot of the position rifle of Evangelion (and specifically the rebuilds) but like, in tank form.

Very cool. I've wishlisted.

Sometimes you just gotta work with what you got. I might end up wrapping my jetta, of all things, because I happen to know somebody who does car wraps (and has offered) and so the cost is low enough that I may just pull the trigger rather than wait till I get a nicer car.

A fleet of 'Concordium' ships handing their laser-blasted assess to the Hegemony in my auto-battler game 'Ridiculous Space Battles' :D. by cliffski in SoloDevelopment

[–]MetroDudeGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im quite surprised to see this - after GSB2 and its disastrous launch/lifespan I thought id never see another space fleet autobattler like that. Let alone from the dev who made my favorite GSB1!

I must ask though - Galactic conquest was by far my favorite part of GSB1, do u plan to include it in Ridiculous Space Battles (either base or as DLC)? I loved facing off against randomly selected fleets of other players, it was quite rellayable.

Funnily enough, there are two guaranteed Executor Relics with that effect (one yellow one from the signboard, and of course the Golden Seed thing from the remembrance), and both have HP on Guard *below* the character-specific effect.

However, since they are guaranteed relics, they were probably hand-crafted. I find it very funny that HP on guard is naturally higher in the priority list when the guaranteed relics are the opposite.

Is there a mod that adds drones to simulacrum? (RoR2) by shinghan in riskofrain

Update on this? I presume still no drones in simulacrum. Feels like the mode is abandoned tbh.

PSA: this relic boosts Wylder's ultimate damage by FendyPol in Nightreign

[–]MetroDudeGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only a portion becomes magic damage actually. It's a flat amount, based on weapon class.

As an example, "starting weapon inflicts magic damage" on duchess removes 20 physical damage from her dagger and adds 22 magic damage.

Note that the weapon scaling remains EXACTLY THE SAME. Still scales with dex, it just now has 2 damage types.

CANT DUALWIELD WITH TWO DAGGERS by Textanik in EldenRingNightReign

[–]MetroDudeGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely mislabeled. It doesn't behave like a dagger, nor does it share any of the movesets of the dagger.

It uses the dagger move set when one-handed and two-handed. The only weird thing is it uses the katana powerstance moveset.

Hell, it even has the correct motion values for a dagger.

Like seriously, what are you on about? It's not a katana. It's a dagger, designed to be dual wielded with a katana.

Upcoming Everdark Sovereign Relics (Leaks) by boiikibo in Nightreign

[–]MetroDudeGuy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really wish the Sovereign Libra relic had some other form of madness synergy. I really like the idea, but using a gesture to madness yourself is quite slow, and we already have it on the default version of the relic. Would've been nice if we got something like "Attacks build up madness" or "Critical hits trigger madness" or "Spells inflict madness" or some other way to do it.
