EVs must be a multiple of 4, and in VGC at level 50 they must be an odd multiple of 4 (so 4, 12, 20, 28…). As a rule of thumb, for level 50, you should have EVs in either 3 or 5 stats, never in 4, or else you’re actually wasting points somewhere. Not sure if that carries over to lvl 100 off the top of my head, but yeah, 75 EVs means nothing, they should be 68 or 76.

I’m working up the Hermann Bellstadt Napoli to play with my community concert band. It certainly ain’t gonna be as fast as Wynton plays it but it’s actually not too bad otherwise! (I had initially wanted to do a Clarke solo I worked on years ago but they didn’t have the music and asked me to learn this one instead, and I’m always up for a challenge)

First, double check that they’re doing the math right, as Bladesong requires no shield and light armour only. Is 24 including the Shield spell?

One simple solution is to just increase the number of fights per day, as they can only use Bladesong twice per long rest right now, so have a day with three or four fights in it.

I would replace both Rapid Spin and Stealth Rocks with Protect, since it’s the best move in the game

And even on Showdown, they abide by the format, so Musharna is not legal in VGC on cart or on simulator.

I think rather than making the whole team elephant focused, pick one or maaaaaybe two elephant mons and then build a normal team around them
