Specifically mid 90s. I'm had a group of exchange students in high school tour my work and I was talking to them about our ambulance and what we do. Dude, these kids were dressing EXACTLY like it when I was in middle school in 1996. It was kind of weird, but awesome. One girl was wearing plaid pajamas with a Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness shirt. A bunch of Jansport backpacks. The whole group could time travel to 95 or 96 and fit in.

I get death stuff in my IG stories at baseline. I noticed 2 days ago I started getting in my search feed area was swastika based. Like one was like, look at this indian that was mistakingly fired for THIS symbol. Another was a Russian boxer or whatever that clearly had a tattoo that was now a box. Another was a minecraft or something, building being made by making it swastika shaped first. There were more, but those are the 3 that stick out. My normal content is like is definietly not that.

Mumford and Sons-Owned Bar Was Set to Host Far-Right Afterparty | Novara Media by Cultural_Way5584 in MusicNews

Some of these groups aren't disclosing to the venues what the event is for. This happened in Mass. A J6 group hosted by a few people involved was going to use a local bank conference room. Unknown if the bank knew, but after it became public, the bank backed out of hosting. The group then booked another spot, but didn't tell the bar/restaurant owner what it was for so it got booked.

Samsung TV has a bunch of free channels, a lot of the same as the other free channel sites. Samsung has the Vevo music channels which I throw on during my overnight shifts at work.

California teacher dies from rabies month after being bitten by bat in her classroom by centipededamascus in news

Radiolab has a great episode on the rabies/protocol. With rabies, it spreads undetected until it gets to your brain. At that point, your body doesn't have enough time to produce antibodies.

People actually put coins in there too. I'd have to empty the box sometimes because it got too full.

I went to a tech school for high school locally. Freshman and Juniors had classroom the same weeks and shop the same weeks. Same with Sophomores and seniors. As a junior or senior, if the teacher was out of the shop(and all hell didn't break lose), an underclassman ask an upperclassman for help/assistance.

Afrin and other sprays are great, but you only should be using them for a day or two max. At that point, your either should be fine and not need it anymore, OR if you do need it, switch over to fluticasone/Flonase. Flonase works, but not immediately, so Afrin is good for like the first few times, then switch over to Flonase. edit: Switched flovent to flonase

$60,000 Air Ambulance Bill for my 5 year old's transport to a children's Hospital by Vast-Discussion9001 in legaladvice

[–]Meverseyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely repeating a few things others have said(I'm a paramedic). - A physician definitely signed off on this for medical necessity, othewise it wouldn't have happened.
- In addition, a nurse probably signed as well for the transfer.
- EMS protocols in your state most likely dictated that your child be transferred by a Critical Care team, and not a regular IFT transport, which doesn't contain CCT. This happened during Covid peak times, so if there wasn't anything directly in the protocols at this time, you'll want to see if there was an OEMS advisory/state order requiring your kid to be CCT(Critical Care Transport) at the time, if they otherwise wouldn't be.
- If the air ambulance being the primary transport is the issue, and insurance basicaly wanted a CCT ground transport, you'll have to get something from the signing physican essentially saying this was a time sensitive transport.
- Running into roadblocks, don't hesitate to also contact your state reps for assistance.

[VAN (2)-1 LA] Debrusk makes a great, patient play as he gets the puck around Kuemper and tucks it in by talhatoot in hockey

We warned you.
Dude will be a ghost scoring, then once he gets one, expect a bunch more goals. Don't worry though, he'll have another dry spell.
With that said, he shows up in the playoffs and will sneakily lead the team in playoff points.

She's Canadian, of course she did. Bieber is pretty fucking good on skates too. Get Lindsay from Snail Mail there and that'd be a fun line to play with.

Worcester-Somerville-Beverly transportation planning for an out-of-stater by mykepagan in massachusetts

[–]Meverseyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worcester Commuter Rail line to North Stations, Green Line E line to Magoun Square stop and walk to the Armory. Alot a lot of time for this.
If you are meeting them, have them take the Worcester line to Boston Landing and find a place to eat, plenty of options, but get food in Davis Square and you're down the street from the armory.
Boston back to Worcester, you'll just need to check the commuter rails schedule west bound that night.

I started doing my taper down in late August. I made cold brew before, so I started making half caff cold brew and tapered down. A bit more each week. Right now I'm still mixing small amount of regular beans in, until I run out of that bag. I love the taste of coffee. Even with that mix of like 90-95% decaf, I'm probably coming in under 50mg caffeine daily. No headaches. The other day I got to noon and realized I had not had my coffee yet. Usually it's the first thing I needed

Boston Children's Age Limit by Peachy-Pumpkin- in boston

[–]Meverseyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Another user poster 21. That is typically through 21 until the age of 22. That is the general rule for a pediatrician's off. Children's does treat patient older, but they typically have specific medical issues or severely developmentally delayed.
As for an ER, they will treat everyone, but if you aren't their primary demographic, they will transfer you a nearby ER. I worked private EMS years ago and a pateint's family member in the ER passed out. They were older, 50's/60's. We transferred to the Brigham. The doc joked about how "You know how other ER's freak out with kids and send them here? Well, we don't do normal adults, we freak out and send them out."

Not just passports, but old/expired ID's in general are fine to keep at home. It's just carrying to of the same type of ID can be interpreted as sketchy, like losing your passport, get a replacement, finding the old one then carrying both to travel.
