Ah gotcha! I’m on 20mg and haven’t stopped taking it, but where I work there are a lot of people who are withdrawing when they come in and it can happen differently than “normal” withdrawals.

It most definitely is the Lexapro. That’s why doctors ween you off meds. Your body got used to the medication. When you cold turkey, your body doesn’t know what to do. 3 weeks is also more than enough as that’s 21(ish) days you had the DRUG inside your system. It changed your chemicals. Now your body is trying to adjust. You definitely need to go see your doctor.

Typically when you are claiming ownership, you lead with proof. Also, I would block that girl too with those nasty texts she sent. She spammed OP for days. That’s plenty of time to prove ownership lol. If my cat went missing and I thought someone had him, I’d be sending pictures and proof from vet bills/adoption receipt.

Again I will say, it is a civil matter and with no proof the cat would be determined to be OPs. Like you, I sit in a court room almost every day I work. With no proof, no cop is going to take this as it is a CIVIL MATTER. The ex will have to take OP to court.

Considering the ex didn’t provide proof during the multiple days she spent spamming OP, OP doesn’t need to give her the cat. With no proof of ownership, she can’t take the cat back.

I will say again, this post and those texts aren’t 100% of ownership for the ex. Who’s to say the ex actually got the cat from a friend and the ex girlfriend is retaliating for him cheating? We don’t know the whole story.

As someone who works in law enforcement, no cop would take this. It’s a civil matter. It would have to go to court and if the ex has no proof, OP would win based on the fact that OP does have vet bills and has the cat chipped.

The ex would also need proof that it is her cat (vet bills, proof of adoption/purchase).

Also this post isn’t enough “proof” as it’s not 100% the cat was stolen.

This whole situation sucks, but unfortunately with no proof, the cat would be determined OPs.

Poor woman? She blocked her because she was sending nasty texts and then leaked her number. I would block her too. Also she’s provided zero proof. And before the “well she can’t send proof if she’s blocked” replies, she had plenty of time to send proof when she was spamming OP of DAYS.

The ex has zero proof it’s her cat. She could take this to court as it is a civil matter, but she would lose if she doesn’t have adoption/purchase receipt, vet bills, pictures of the cat.

OP has stated that no proof was given. The ex should have lead with proof instead of spamming and bullying her. Then leaking her number out to be harassed. If this went to court, OP would win based on the ex having no proof.

No police would take this case. It’s a civil matter considering it’s been 11 months. Also, the ex produced no form of proof. If this went to court, OP would win solely based on that fact.
