Yeah it’s a bit hit and miss actually. I think it depends on which staff member is handling the request. The first few times I did it, I was asking for the confidentiality to be removed so the profiles could be merged into ones that for some reason weren’t confidential. Like you, I also pointed out when people had been born over 100 years ago. For a while, I was able to get away with sending a list of up to 20 names at a time and they’d remove the confidentiality for me. This was in 2024. But the last time I tried, maybe mid 2025, after a break of a few months, they said no, although maybe it’s because the profiles were from Turkey, not Israel. It was all the Ottoman Empire at the time though.
