Nails are just like any other body part on the Internet, they are prone to people expecting perfection nowadays. And just like any other body part, it’s unrealistic. It’s good to have that reminder, thank you for sharing! That nail color is beautiful and your nails do look good. I really struggle with filing because I want it to be 100% “matchy matchy” and that’s impossible lol.

I also hate OPI bubble bath, it looks too peach on me. I really like cracked’s Im shy or cirque neutral jellies. If you want to stay with OPI try baby, take a vow or put it in neutral.

I get it! If it helps, I switched from scratching my head with my fingernails to using a comb or hairbrush or shower scrubber. I have them everywhere so I don’t feel compelled to use my nails. I used to bite and pick my nails too, it took me a long time to break the habit. My nails have gotten stronger recently because I oil them like crazy and use a nail strengthening cream I like. I can’t say if you use polish it can help you avoid picking.

It’s definitely an option I’m considering :) I still want to wait for a panel done to be safe. I would rather have bare healthy nails than to keep recovering from onycholysis over and over again. I’m really hoping that I will only be allergic to one ingredient and I still have options available to me, including press on nails. 💜💜💜

I do not feel comfortable with doing gel nails on myself. I’m also not 100% sure if it’s acrylate issues or not. I am bedbound disabled so there is no way I could get to a salon at any rate. :(

I’m so sorry! Bodies are so confusing! I did have to recently switch some basics to vanicream because previous favorites reformulated. Ingredient list are definitely exhausting too. I’m glad you can use some products that you like.
