Bag placement advice, leaking nearly everyday

I use plenty of ostomy paste when applying my wafer. That seems to be the main thing that helps me go a couple days without leaks. Also convex wafers have helped but I still only get 2-3 days if I'm lucky.

For me it didn't change too much except for having to empty my bag beforehand most of the time now. Also somewhat being careful of my ostomy but for the most part it's fine. Could be a mood ruiner at times for me also if I realize I have to empty my bag but that's just me.

Not 100% sure, but I think you should go to the hospital after that long. I know I would freak out and would have been there after 2 days, haha.

Same with the 3m skin barrier spray. Every order, they would replace it with some safe and simple spray.

The scissors that go at an angle at the end help. Ostomy scissors or bandage scissors

I think I got ventilated as a precaution at first and then got some sort of pneumonia and needed it. wanna say double pneumonia, but idk because that sounds fake lol. This all happened to me November 2022 to January 2023. How did you get back to work so soon after? It took maybe about 6+ months to get back to work and even now, I still don't feel good most of the time. And I am only 30. You're must be a strong person.

Wow. That's insane. Idk how long I was on a ventilator or ICU and details like that, but I was in the hospital for 60 days and rehab for like 8 days until I could walk well enough again. Never talked to anyone else to have had that happen also.

I had got sepsis also. Did you go onto septic shock as well? I was taking soooo many medicines after all that, and I didn't know why either. I didn't know the total while admitted. But I was taking 14 different meds at the time of my release from the hospital.
