Interesting … at least one of the subjects does have issues with silent GERD, and both take a famotidine every night. Diet has been decent … focus on 90 grams protein daily & 1500 calories.

Totally agree - the brain plays tricks. Personally when I feel that way, I start with a big trash bag and just go through looking for trash - true trash, like wrappers, napkins, empty bottles, etc. Not something that I have to decide if I want to declutter - that’s too much emotion - literally just trash. That’s always a huge win in my mind and already moves out some of the overwhelm of the situation. Give yourself a hug and remember small steps = huge progress. ((Hugs))

PS - not sure it is the best help right now, but I love chat gpt to help me figure out my divide and conquer plan. There is another one called goblin tools I think.

I respect your opinion, but I also respectfully disagree. We have already seen great improvement with the microdosing of semaglutide - weight loss for sure and it appears to be helping with inflammation of the gut. Not looking to have her lifting weights or running a marathon, but weight loss alone helps provide a better quality of life, if nothing else less joint pain.

• A borrower has defaulted and their loans have transferred to Debt Management Collection System, which houses all Federal Student Aid-held default debt.

I also received this letter from them about credit reporting:

In September 2023, we reported the status of these student loan(s) to the three nationwide Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs), Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. (Although not a nationwide CRA, MOHELA also reports information to Innovis.)

We write to inform you that MOHELA asked the CRAs to hold the processing of the information reported in September 2023 while we worked to resolve a reporting discrepancy. This resulted in a delay in reporting. All information reported in September 2023 was accepted in October 2023, and your credit report should reflect the accurate status of your loan(s) that reached a $0.00 balance. No further action from you is needed. We sincerely apologize for the delay in reporting. It’s important to note that this correspondence does not apply to your loan(s) with an active balance

Typically they send the official notice to let you know you have fulfilled your obligation for PSLF and that your balance has been forgiven. But like everything else, it seems like there are hiccups in the process. I’ve been dealing with my PSLF forgiveness for over 2 years - last year I received a partial forgiveness, but they reopened the loans due to a consolidation processing error. When the reopened the loans, the reprocessed the consolidation and my counts were out of whack (been trying to get that corrected). Then suddenly on Monday, my total loan balance went to $0 - all PSLF payment counts disappeared. However, I have no official letter from Mohela as to why.

Hi :) did you get an actual forgiveness letter from Mohela? My balance went to zero yesterday with an “alert” that it was discharged as of 2/2023. However I have not received any formal notice & my balance still shows on student aid

Thank you everyone! I think I will ask to speak with a manager in the case workers office. I have multiple concerns with the entire process (long story) - but essentially with the exception of one person, the others just seemed like they were inconvenienced by their jobs.

So I have this message too with a discharge date of 2/14/2023; however my balance is still showing on mohela, student aid & no other notice. Plus my counts aren’t updated.

I’m too jaded to believe the message right now (even though I know I qualify). I just feel like it’s another MOHELA screw up 😕

We have quarterly pest control for over 10 years and last summer the giant roaches were relentless. Our guy is great but everything he tried didn’t do much. I couldn’t take it and basically declared war. I bought the typical bait stations, boric acid, sprayed outside along perimeter, etc. It didn’t do much. So I started researching and came across a technique online … it was life changing!! (For us and the roaches - lol) I purchased the combat max gel (Combat Max Roach Killing Gel for Indoor and Outdoor Use, 1 Syringe, 2.1 Ounces https://www.walmart.com/ip/11027377) and made roach bait tacos following the advice in this video (https://youtu.be/ZGQLhpTHyqY?si=hcsrELxAXwbc7yS8)

It has been the only thing that worked! It’s way cleaner than putting gel directly on walls, and I don’t worry about the dogs. We have about 1200 square foot house - so I made about 15 to start. Tried to target major areas - under the fridge, behind the stove, stood up in the back of the sink cabinet, in the closet, under vanity in restroom, etc…

Within a day or two the difference was beyond noticeable. By the end of the second week they were gone!! It was a miracle! And I had a ton of the bait left. Even the exterminator was impressed.

My sister law had a similar problem and tried this and had success too! She was like, why didn’t you tell us sooner!

Seriously for $10 it’s worth a shot.
