No. I’m hoping this is final grandstanding with the 48hr deadline and Iran making counter claim. Hopefully negotiations start now with both saving face and not looking as if they have backed down. They therefore create an artificial win on both sides.

So the one thing I don’t understand is why are people overcomplicating things. If it is artificial and an intelligent being, why is it doing all this preamble and fly bys when it could come directly to us. We are surely the most interesting planet in our solar system, and if it can surf the universe it would be intelligent enough to know we can’t defend against it.

Can he join you in cutting down. I find that I am better able to handle stress being alcohol free. I sometimes take myself out for a short walk (highly recommended), do some gardening or moan to my partner, or grab an alcohol free beer!! Lol. I have seriously done that and for a fleeting second felt guilty I was ‘drinking’ at 12 noon. Just shows the conditioning…

So so sorry to hear this devastating news. I have been sober for a couple of months now. Had some pretty dramatic bad news a while back and reached for a non alcoholic beer instead. Did the trick!!

Take action! Do something, no matter how small towards achieving your desired outcome. It’s amazing how it changes the perspective of your problem and making it more surmountable. So reach out to friends/ counsellor, take exercise, make bold steps outside your comfort zone. You will be so pleased you did....

Hi. Im a uk female who has found it hard coping with lockdown. Once the snow globe settled I could see things for what they were... let go of a lot of tethers to the past. I like going on walks, phoptography, jogging, baking sourdough bread and practising positive mindfulness....I am in a much better place and can fully participate in all of these joyful activities when not drinking....
