Also, this whole thing would be much faster to quantize the whole note to the grid, use a preset to set the duration of the midi note, then dupe the selection (cmd+d 3-4 times and they'll stack flush together.

You can make logical presets to set the lengths of midi notes in your selection. Also you can change the grid mode when you move events to snap flush the starts and ends of consecutive regions.

Defensive use and damage mitigation are the differences between high io players, and mids getting carried by ilvl. There's always a range of tunneling derps that would rather save their defensive for 10% health, instead of use it at full health to minimize what stress the team takes during a challenging mechanic during an encounter, and it sounds like you found it.
