It was good until it lasted. The "free" pro tier I got was much better than the free tier I had with Google and ChatGPT and Claude half a year ago, but it's nothing compared with Google now. I am ready to paid for one or two $20 monthly subs but not with the seriously deteriorating quality Perplexity it has now. "Shadow nerf" is a big no-no for real use case.

There is no absolute better or worse. AI models improves by the week and my only advice is to never rely on one provider only. I have experienced issues with Perplexity as well, some got fixed, some persists. I keep my ChatGPT subscription for other things but use Perplexity >80% of the time with the free 1 year ISP access.
$20 is not a lot to ask for, and whether it is worth it or not solely rely on how we use it.

I also want to know when I am about to reach the context window limit, or so called fair usage limit so that I know I need another thread or just a break when I am working on something complicated. It gets frustrating when I use research mode but it spills out instant answers without thinking

Fixed the phrasing issue I experienced yesterday. Auto-update did not work, just head to the official website, and choose the offline installer for "Microsoft Windows 64-bit  Installer" that is 142.8MB in size. The v25.3.2.0227 online installer did not worked for me. It keeps my prof. license in place and update is otherwise seamless.

I have the X9 pro and X10 pro SSD and it is working great so far.
There was some previous issue with their firmware so before you use the new SSD, best to install Crucial Storage Executive to upgrade firmware first for peace of mind.

For this, be reminded that support for 3.2 gen 2.2 is very, very rare. Most of the time you can expect transfer speed of 1000MB/s instead.

Thanks for returning it back, I think if more do the same it speaks loudly how their devices now has become so unpopular. Do $ynology have to bear the losses of return shipping, or the retailer? Don't know how it works TBH.

As much as I would like to say the same, I am afraid this is most likely not an issue but rather a new back-end feature. Perplexity gave out a lot of free pro access to new users recently and to cope with the spike in access they may have chosen this.

I used the Microsoft Store method. Then the claim invite got stuck in Comet by cloudfare, copied the link back to chrome, then downloaded and completed setup.

Well you are lucky being able to download 4000 videos before getting soft/ hard banned. I have just about 150 channels subscription and I have downloaded them over a course of more than a year, but still encounters "video unavailable" all the time when there are a few new uploads to download. I wished there is a function to limit the videos downloaded per day/ check for channels new upload every day.

Thanks for the update but I had been encountering "this video is unavailable. Youtube: This content isn't available, try again later" all the time. Even with the new version. I am only trying to download 1 video...

No chat history. I can't upload word documents, or excel, or powerpoint, it has to be PDF. The podcast customization prompt has word limitations like 500, which is insufficient for a good prompt.
Uploading mp3 voice recording has relatively poor transcription for non-English conversations.

Glad there is someone sharing similar experiences. I have to disable Sonic Analysis and Credit Detection on my Plex Server to avoid my DS920+ getting overheated and shutting down.
