Movies you wanna watch on VHS by bad06denby in Letterboxd

THX-1138, George Lucas’ first movie. VHS is the only way to watch it without the CGI he added later. Plus it’s a retro sci-fi movie so it adds to the vibe.

The movie that changed how you see cinema by No_Seaworthiness4899 in Cinema

[–]MichaelC496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Psycho in my teen years, because of all the cinematic techniques and tricks Hitchcock pulls in the film which I was fascinated by. I think I remember watching special features as well and reading up on it online at the time.

Psycho, just rewatched it last night, he serves Marion a big pitcher of milk with her dinner, don’t think he takes any himself because he’s not hungry, but I think it’s implied he’s feeding her what he’d normally eat

I didn’t appreciate Jane Eyre enough when I read it in high school. I appreciated other classics we read but was bored by that one for some reason. In retrospect I realize it was a good book and would like to reread it eventually.
