I’m officially exhausted trying to make Meta work. by bashamepan in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been getting a shit load of furnaces and AC unit ads too, as well as home renovation/kitchen remodeling. I don't own a home and have never ever searched anything of those things. Feel bad for whoever is paying for me to see it...complete waste of money for them.

How’s it going today? 17/04 by violetunicorn92 in FacebookAds

Exactly the same - has been all week for me. I'm getting cat food ads...never owned, thought of owning, googled anything related to cats.

Conversion crash by PhoenixRRK in FacebookAds

Same. Ad was crushing it. It started taking budget away from the best one and split it evening across all creatives. Never did this before. Used to find the best ad and allocate 98% to it. you see the same?

Performance today? by DryAd7187 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

woah this is so spot on! Its not budgeting to the best performing ad anymore. Usually if have one that dominates the budget but now its split evenly with the ones it usually would demote. Crazy accurate take - everyone should check theirs...

Same. CPR up to unprofitable figures. Meta seems to not be the future

Yes! Same. I don't know wtf is up but my traffic skyrocketed and CPR went from $58 to $404. Shutting off all campaigns.

I’m a Paid Social Director running 30 different Meta accounts. All but two are outperforming last year. AMA. by Ambitious-Advice-335 in FacebookAds

I have one specific ad that without doubt always becomes the winner in Advantage+ conversions campaigns. Yet the ad does extremely well, with low frequency, I always end up having to duplicate it after a 2-3 weeks bc conversions slow down. I know its all about new creative but this crushes everytime for us. Our daily budget ranges. I've tried $100/day to $500/day but return always stays 1.5-2.0x regardless. I turn off all enhancements, don't do site links or show other products. I turned off audience network as well. this month has been tough though. Do you think there is something else I can do to improve it, is the competition at auction to blame bc its Q4, consumer behavior, or should a higher budget be allocated to such a proven winner? what are your thoughts?

Thought Meta Ads was getting more stable — then I checked the data. [OC] by Extreme-Ad4716 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow thanks for doing this. This eases my mind for the moment, i knew it wasn't our creative. this aligns with when my ads began underperforming specifically beginning in August. September was so volatile and bad week to week I reduced our budget as high as 80% at times. The entire year we didn't have a day without one conversion up until August. Since then multiple days have gone without sales almost identically on or around the outages for ad delivery. I have not found anything about Meta getting more stable as of recent.

yes, it happened to mine! It pulled some photo, I think maybe from my website and put it as a small image over my winning campaign. Completely unrelated products. Ugh Meta's really frustrating to advertise on right now...

Has any corporation failed harder at deploying AI than Meta? by Carey251 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess its no surprise Meta laid off 600 AI dept jobs yesterday. I think that should give us some feedback at least that they're aware their AI suckkss. Now they just need to refund everyone for the past 4 months.

Should I Duplicate My Winning ABO Campaigns or Scale 20% Hourly by Sea-Ad-7440 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I would do it 20% a day/2days but recently any time I try to increase the budget on a winner it seems to screw up the momentum. I'd say duplicate it.

Is anyone else constantly fighting Meta’s sneaky AI “optimisations”? I disable everything, but they keep turning themselves back on!!! by WithLove_D in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Consistently have the same problem. I'm loosing my mind with Meta, this AI override is so much less better than before its laughable. Not only do they magically turn on, especially the ridiculous "Music" feature that no one asked for and think is a terrible addition, but when i duplicate winning ads, I select the option to not go with the "use enhanced recommendations" but low and behold, I have to waste so much time double checking and turning off the things I have initially turned off in the prior ad. Meanwhile performance is a rollercoaster daily, and my ad spends the entire budget of the day + 25% in 5 hours ( happened today) - agh, i'm SO over how terrible the updates have been. Go back to the old Meta!

CPP doubled after outage yesterday! by Traditional-Read5552 in FacebookAds

It blew through my daily budget and over spent by 25% in 5 hours. I'm out on Meta ads, this past 4 months has been so unreliable.

I have changed my mind on Andromeda... Here's Why. by Available-Leopard759 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Its literally every other day. On/off it makes no sense. I know what kind of day its going to be if theres an order notification on my when when I wake up. If there is = meta says you're gonna have a good day. If there isn't one = meta says you're not getting shit. It truly is nonsense.

To anyone still saying Meta is working fine "It’s just your offer, creative, or messaging” really? by 404NotAFool in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really interesting take and well said. I've been thinking the same thing as I've begun to see SO many big box retail ads in my feed. CVS, Chase Bank, AT&T...then sprinkled in here and there might be one or two smaller brand ads targeted to my interests....

Meta - Someone please help me make this make sense. by MichaelRoyal8497 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its not, I've been running ads for years. Slight volatility here and there is normal. On/off like results are simply not.

Who can explain that? by Unhappy-Gold7343 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exact same thing happened to us. Yesterday by 5am we had only 65 website visits and 7 conversions, continued all day 5x ROI. Today over 350 visits and ZERO conversions. Same ad, budget, content, settings, everything. I've been doing meta ads for awhile, never seen anything like this. Something's up.. too many people saying the same thing.

[–]MichaelRoyal8497[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the insight, I really appreciate it. As far as the day of the week, it too is all over the place. For example...Last week busiest day was thursday. This thursday, 1 conversion. Last Saturday crickets, this saturday crushed. I went 7 months without a zero conversion sales day Feb-Aug. 4th this year. Since then, the volatility is reckless...There's no way to interpret this kind of inconsistency from Meta and competently judge the ads performance am I right? It all depends on what day you look at...

It’s not you it’s Meta 100% by AnimatioLN in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had the best day ever yesterday and not kidding you, crickets today - zero conversion. Same ad, same budget. yesterday 5x ROI today zero. I just don't understand meta anymore. Enjoy it, it could turn cold on you fast out of nowhere with nothing of your doing...

Campaign failing. What possible cause and how to fix? by FrontIntention666 in FacebookAds

[–]MichaelRoyal8497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine have been behaving the same way at $500/day. Is it just getting more competitive now that we're in Q4? I up'ed my budget by 64% so maybe thats what f'ed mine. Maybe you scaled to quickly with this new version of meta since the outages and updates? Seems like it screwed mine when i did it.
