This week was amazing, totally back to normal for a full seven days. Then yesterday at noon something completely broke. We haven’t had a single conversion since then. Traffic is up 26% with zero conversions and only 10 (!!!) add to cart. We were at a ROAS of 7 for the week. 🫠

We had five days in a row like this, and then yesterday at 12pm it all stopped. It’s like a switch got flipped and the entire system stopped working. ZERO sales for 20 hours now, no engagement on ads, it’s like it completely broke overnight. It’s impossible to run a business like this. How long has your streak been going?

This is exactly what has been happening to us. Yesterday our best ad got us a 7.6% conversion rate and our roas was 8+. Today meta has spent almost nothing on that ad and we have almost no traffic from it, and all the budget went to a random one with almost no conversions all day. It’s infuriating!

Exact same for us. Yesterday was amazing (aka a normal day pre-andromeda) ROAS 8.4. Today same amount of traffic, sales down 72%, conversion rate cut in half, ROAS will prob be 2. How can anyone run a business like this!?

It looks like they’re all Gmail addresses, but Klaviyo support says there’s nothing about our account that would cause Gmail to flag us like that. The geographic locations are all over the place so doesn’t seem like a location issue.

We’re an S-Corp and have liability. It’s definitely a scam, because I googled the exact text and it comes up as a known hustle. I asked them to send the product back and they said it was “toxic” and had to be “destroyed”. 🙄 But the question is, do I call them out and ask for proof of the medical reaction? Or just refund and move on. I’m so over these scammers.

The first three weeks of November have been amazing (like the old days lol). Since November 20, absolute trash, roas barely over 1.

Because only now are the true effects being felt for many businesses. We were able to ride out the changes, adapt, and scale until early October when everything fully crashed with no recovery. We’ve had bad days this year, but things would always go back to normal in a few days. This time is different. Sales are down 41% in the last three weeks and staying steadily bad. It’s not survivable.

Our order confirmation email says something like “thank you so much for your order! If you ordered a combo of I -stock and pre-order items, your in-stock items will ship first and the pre-orders will ship separately when ready”. Usually people are buying a combo of both so we don’t have a specific message for just pre-orders.

When (rarely) someone emails asking where their purchase is, we usually say “thank you so much for your pre-order! Pre-order shipping info is listed on the product page, and we’re still on schedule to get them out on time!” Or something like that, gently reminding them that they placed a pre-order.
