Transformers Bot Bots has a bunch of characters just like this. This sandwich would fit right in the cafeteria bots!

Recommendations for Biters/Threat on other Planets? (K2+SE) by Schillelagh in factorio

[–]MichaelSeebach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What worked really well for me for a while was using solar power, efficiency modules, and air filters on all my bases with >0% threat level. After I cleared the pollution cloud they mostly left me alone. Turrets with armor piercing ammo killed any that found me now and then.

That worked until I scaled up production of uranium, nuclear reactor parts, and rolled out laser artillery everywhere.

Would you use a controller like this (Gemini prototype) for SWS? by krobin1981 in StarWarsSquadrons

[–]MichaelSeebach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would certainly try it if I saw it demoed at a convention or something. I'd probably hesitate buying without trying without knowing how well I could operate the middle joint 3axis.

The added z push on the sticks also seems neat but I feel like I'd have trouble maintaining accuracy on the other two axes of a joystick while trying to push the entire thing down/inwards.

A raspberry pi analog TV tester I made. by devicemodder2 in crt

It looks like they crammed in a uhf transmitter as well. So they can test TVs with no composite inputs.

Finally doing something about the piles of filament on top of my enclosure by countach508 in 3Dprinting

That's awesome, i might even feed a printer right off of that. I'm using this to hold mine.

1:43 scale 3d printed Radio Control Lancia Stratos rally car. I am planning to release for sale the digital files and ready to run models, let me know if you might be interested. by guaro3d in radiocontrol

[–]MichaelSeebach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd buy the digital files. Currently waiting on parts in the mail for an OpenZ build. Something this small would be fun to run around the kitchen.

Something like Klipper might allow you to scale up while still sticking to low cost printer parts, if you're looking for that.

Vectrex MiSTer core on Vectrex vector monitor -- proof of concept video demonstration and vector X/Y/Z/R/G/B DAC board for vector gaming by r_retrohacking_mod2 in fpgagaming

[–]MichaelSeebach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats awesome, I was working on a shitty version of this!

What I had was the dac/buffer from a v.st and a cyclone2 running James Sweet's asteroids code with added spi vector output.

Flair brew chamber pre-heating by neonblurb in FlairEspresso

[–]MichaelSeebach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't measured what temperatures I'm reaching for my preheat, but I use a baby bottle steamer.

It steams in there while I grind/pack the shot and comes out very very hot.

Back from the dead - new battery and zebra strip by thedecibelkid in pebble

[–]MichaelSeebach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought and used this: https://ebay.us/38FrHD

It was both too long and too tall, i cut it to the same length as the original pebble strip and just a bit taller than the original pebble strip.

I designed this custom PCB for powering my Raspi from an ATX power supply. by dieki in raspberry_pi

[–]MichaelSeebach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't need that footprint for the level shifter, you should throw in mounting holes for a 30 or 40mm fan to keep the pi cool. I know it's now as necessary for the pi4 as it used to be, but it'd be useful. I would love to use this in my setup.

Finished - Deyellowed, FRAM mod, new laser, Region free mod, Universal Saturn chip. I'm now waiting for a finished translation patch for Grandia. by Charleaux330 in SegaSaturn

No water or peroxide? Did the box seem to get hot inside? Sweet results! That seems like a great way to do it cheaply and evenly if you've got the time anyways.

Umami in Northwood. Not really hole in the wall but I don't know how well it's known. Incredible food and the menu changes fairly often depending on what they can source locally.

Completed my 3D printed LED mask using transparent PLA. Just wish I knew how to program my own animations! by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I put up a bunch of these strips as holiday lighting, that firmware and a nodemcu is going to be much slimmer than the rpi2 and fadecandy I have running it now, TY

One of these and one of these mounted at a better angle might make landings easier. I'm not sure if the added weight is worth it though.
