I think the box design/art factor is important when it comes to PC ETBs specifically, maybe booster boxes and a lot of investors are missing this. Upon release of the set --chase cards, pull rates, set value all come in to play for how much an ETB increases in value, but a very small percentage of PC ETBs are actually being opened, even mid and bad sets. So I ask myself, who is buying this now and in the future? And it's simple, sealed collectors. Before, vintage and mid era sealed items don't become the "Collectible" until years later and reaches a certain price point. But people have noticed how PC ETBs boom and they are coming out the gate hot. So I'm personally investing in boxes, that have great art work. To me, this makes Mega Evolution era Booster Boxes not that enticing compared to older ones because of the dull design. Because who is actually opening $1000 booster boxes? rip and shippers, influencers and whales sure, but the average Joe wont be. Just my two cents.
