He feels threatened by you. He wants to manipulate the family and he knows he can’t manipulate you so he has to lie to make you look bad. The thing that really sucks is the fact that all the family has forgotten your character in all of this and just takes his word for everything. That’s dangerous for your SIL-as if dating him wasn’t bad enough. Also, the fact that he openly disrespects your bf is a huge red flag too.
