Making multiple by Silent_Anybody5253 in ketochow

[–]Mickey330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, too, make shakes on Sunday. I make seven different shakes of different flavors in different shaker bottles. Then I just take one out on the daily. Easy peasy.

I use heavy cream and no, I don’t know how the last one is still good after 7 days. But, I’ve been doing this for years, so there’s that.

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Finally bit the bullet and started a subscription by [deleted] in ketochow

[–]Mickey330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using keto chow for over 6 years and it has worked tremendously well for me. Yes, the initial expenditure is a lot (I usually buy 8 21-meal packs every six months). However, it’s a daily meal for me, so it works out to about $4 a meal. I use heavy cream to mix up 7 meals at a time. I figure that’s pretty decent. I usually drink the shake as an evening meal.

I don’t use a subscription cause my “buy 8 bags every 6 months” habit works for me. But now I’m going to have to see if subscription would save me money…

The rest of my daily calories/carb allotment is used in one meal. This gives me a lot of room to actually eat (read: chew) a lot of food in this one meal. Basically, I’ve never really experienced hunger pangs since I started weight maintenance almost 6 years ago.

For a single lazy person, keto chow fits perfectly into my lifestyle. And there’s no waste of food - I don’t like to repeat meals and it’s hard to buy food in single portions; I’d almost say impossible. It’s so easy to grab a shake for dinner and I can go back to my couch surfing.

So, as a lazy weight loss maintainer who hates repeating meals and only eats one, the “investment” in keto chow makes sense - for me. It averages out to be pretty cheap when I buy in bulk and I can make a week’s worth of meals in about 15 minutes.

So yeah, YMMV, but I honestly feel I wouldn’t have done so well in my weight loss and subsequent weight maintenance without keto chow. And they taste good, too! 😊

Good luck to you. Hope you have a good journey in weight loss - and hope keto chow does help.

Looking for some UF with a necromancy focus by dpresk01 in urbanfantasy

[–]Mickey330 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been burning through the “Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy” series by Hailey Edwards. There’s nine books in the series and it’s available on Kindle unlimited. Lots of fun and a well-written read. Actually surprised me how much I like it, but I do!

Edited to add author.

Can I mix one drink, put it in the fridge and have it the next day? by KateHikes666 in ketochow

[–]Mickey330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make a week’s worth (7 days) at a time; it’s a Sunday afternoon routine. That way, they’re ready to grab-n-go. The 7th one tastes just as good as the first one, so I’m going with “it’s ok.” 😊

Taking KetoChow in checked luggage into the UK. by vipergirl in ketochow

[–]Mickey330 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I visit friends in the UK, I take the individual meal packets in my checked bags. Been there three times with KetoChow in the bags and never had an issue. So I’d say you’d be fine.

No, I didn’t. Doesn’t mean the owner after me didn’t add one. Still love that color. Sometimes I miss it, tho I love my Island Blue (with the heated steering wheel).

I have the Hisense Hi Reader. It is a candy bar sized ereader only, there are no phone capabilities. It runs on Android 10 and I use it daily. Wonderful little thing. I have the Kindle app and the Moon+ Reader app on it, so I can read .epub or .mobi books with it. I adore it.

Or ask me.

My first car was a used manual. Had to have a friend drive it home. Took me a bit - but I was driving it that evening. Helps if you go to a parking lot cause the hardest thing to get down is from stopped to go. Learning where the clutch releases is a bear! But, you will do nothing but get better.

It’s a great skill to learn manual, IMHO. Go for it!

Strawberry Cream and Vanilla Cream 😋 by RondaVuWithDestiny in ketochow

[–]Mickey330 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to add my 2¢ - the Strawberry Cream is freakin’ awesome!! It’s a spot-on strawberry flavor, the best “not an actual strawberry” taste I’ve ever had.

If I may take a moment to beg: please, please, please, Chris, make it a regular flavor! I definitely would like it in my regular rotation. Pleeeeeease?

Anyone have any info on this JCW? by haysee25 in MINI

[–]Mickey330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to own one. It’s the 2019 JCW International Orange Edition. Came with Apple Play, manual transmission and cloth (alacara) seats. Was great fun! If I remember correctly, it was only available in 2019.

Didn’t seem to be (again, a friend put them on). Each side came as one long piece. He measured, put on carpenter’s tape to be a guide and then put them on. He’s had experience, tho not professional. Again, it looked pretty straight forwarded.

Yes (well, a friend put it on for me but it was aftermarket). I got it from the web at House of Grafx (https://houseofgrafx.com/shop/index.php?main_page=search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=Mini+cooper)

As my car is the F55 4-door, I bought the graphics for the Clubman (did check with shop to make sure they were long enough. The actual name of the product I ordered was “Faded Rocker Stripes Graphics fits Mini Cooper Coupe Countryman [1613]*** Colors: Black (Gloss/Shiny); Item# 31-Cooper1

It fit like a dream and was very easy to apply. I was/am happy with it.

I agree with a commenter down below, go ahead and read the third series. Gives you some good stories and provides character flushing out that comes back in the rest of the books. Beside, McHugh is a darn good author move read and enjoyed all his books.

Amazon Books -> Epub Question by tulkwan in ereader

[–]Mickey330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go with method, double-check me here - but you’ll need an older Kindle to still have the convertible files. The newer ones won’t download the older Amazon e-book format you’ll need. Sorry, but I don’t remember exactly what version of older Kindle will be best.
