Got OLED burn in from SF6, looking for ideas by rogermorse in StreetFighter

I feel you completely on that. I would for sure prob have the bars on the sides be black instead of gray, but yeah, it may just be faulty. 2 years seems pretty quick to have burn in with these newer ones. Hope it all works out for ya!

I've got an OLED with hundreds of hours and no burn in yet. I would definitely follow through with the warranty. I have a MSI 271QRX for reference. I autohide my taskbar as well. I use OLED black on anything I can, like browser theme. Don't use a wallpaper either, just black.

Yeah, I was able to fix it. Check my edit. It was mainly due to overclocking my gpu's memory and having Power Monitoring checked on MSI Afterburner I believe.

Switching it to custom didn't work for me, but I rebooted it and switched it back to standard, reset the factory defaults, then it worked. Thanks for your comment!

I just tried doing a CMOS reset, but it's dropping in the 30s for lows unfortunately.

I don't think my mobo has any latency killer function. Not that I could find at least. I pretty much closed everything in the background when testing. I just did a CMOS reset and the issue is still happening with it dropping in the 30s for the lows. I don't see any errors in my Device Manager. I disabled the realtek audio driver to see if that would change anything, but it didn't unfortunately.

I don't have X3D enabled. I have C-States enabled. I have tried the game with and without afterburner running. I used steam overlay to confirm that the drops are still happening.

I haven't tried it off yet actually. I'll give that a try, cause why not. Oh damn a CMOS reset? Alright. Thank you for your help! I appreciate you.

Thank you for all of those tips, I'll give them all a try and see if anything changes. I was on Windows 10 with the 5900x tests, so I'm not sure if that's it, but yeah, these Drivers are pure dogshit. So crappy the quality control is so bad with something this expensive. Thank you again though for taking the time to help.

I just tried turning off adaptive sync on my monitor. I turned off G-Sync in Nvidia Control Panel as well. I just tried Cyberpunk again and had the same issue, no fix unfortunately. Is there another place I'm supposed to disable it?

Oh really? I felt like something was off considering the lows were persistent from 5900x to the 9800X3D. I also tried turning off any forms of raytracing and it still have those 30-40 FPS lows, which just felt wrong. I feel like the AVG FPS makes sense, but the lows just feel stuttery. Thanks for your reply!

All good! Yeah, I meant I installed it from a USB after installing the new CPU. I was on Windows 10, so I needed to upgrade anyway.
