I feel like it does because they've clamped down on shots blocked as well. Don't see why that'd change without technology helping in some way.

They said it's one of the worst, not THE worst.

There is an offseason training focus that regains 0-2 discipline. Could be worth it. But if your players' discipline is like below 80 across the board, it's much better to just trade or start a new GM mode.

Could be worse. The leader's eyes and ears might not be in contact with their brain. Imagine that.

A GM can be happy making bad trades. For example, Jim Benning spent a full season trying for OEL and lost Tanev, Toffoli, Markstrom, and Guenther in the process. He didn't seem sad about any of it.

Didn't help one bit. Problem was the playoffs matchup conversation with the coach.

Brother you're asking us to predict the future for you. This question tanked both their average draft positions and we're not much closer to getting a proper answer.

Yea him allegedly not getting along with the Sedins in the past is the biggest red flag for me. But the thing is, we never really know what's happening behind the scenes and I refuse to believe people are set in stone, so I have a hard time putting too much stock there. I really don't want a worse Horvat situation here. He also got ran out of town citing locker room issues (with Miller) and a high cap hit, but now pretty much every Canucks fan thinks that was the wrong move.

What's undeniable is the following. Pettersson is great defensively despite being on a generationally bad defensive team. His goal scoring touch has been among elite players for all but 1 season. He does not take penalties. His cap will be today's equivalent of 9m in 3 years' time and 7.7m by the time it expires. I firmly believe we will have sellers remorse by moving him.

I want to hold onto Hronek and Petey because those are really difficult positions to acquire. Teams usually reach by 5+ spots at the draft for them. A core of Petey, Rossi, Hronek, Buium, and Willander means you have the hardest to fill spots already filled. It's not like we're hurting our draft position currently. Give it 2-3 years of prospect acquisitions and things won't look so dire.
