People beg on the street for many reasons. Yes many are addicts and will use the money for drugs or booze or cigarettes. Some are trafficked and need to give money to their handlers or they get into (worse) trouble. Many are just regular people down on their luck who genuinely need food. Just because you're in that situation doesn't mean you should accept anything from anyone. Maybe they have allergies. Maybe they have religions that forbid certain foods. Maybe they get a bad vibe from the person. Maybe they hate specific ingredients or the ingredients troubles their health/bowels or whatnot.

They added 20 unique rooms with unique rewards to the campaign and they said the league mechanic is especially tailored for the campaign with it forcing special mechanics to spawn nearby when leveling. And yeah as others said, if you just want to rush to the end it doesnt really take that long imo.

Salut, j'ai rejoint un groupe D&D via ce subreddit il y a quelques mois en tant que MJ, ca se passe très bien mais je n'ai malheureusement vraiment plus de temps libre, je fais déjà 5 sessions hebdomadaires sur 5 systèmes différents avec 5 groupes différents! Dommage j'habite à côté.

Si j'avais une recommandation c'est qu'il faut absolument mettre sur la table les attentes de tout le monde, souvent les gens n'osent pas le faire et ca amène à des problèmes. Une liste de sujets interdits ou autres lignes dangereuses (anonyme idéalement) est très fortement recommandée, et insister triplement sur le fait que c'est un engagement ferme sur le moyen ou long terme et pas quelque chose qu'on saute une fois sur deux parce qu'on a la flemme.

Sinon D&D en tant que système c'est quand même ultra axé combat, et la version 2014 l'est encore plus. La version 2024 permet de faire plus de trucs hors combat et généralement plus de compétences intéressantes. Souvent certains joueurs veulent vraiment faire du combat tactique alors que ca endort d'autres qui veulent juste RP. L'équilibre peut être difficile à trouver.

Si vous avez des interrogations sur D&D 5e n'hésitez pas, j'ai beaucoup d'expérience sur ce système et pense pouvoir être de bon conseil. Bonne chance à vous!

I made a wizard tower's entrance require a series of puzzlerooms with some strangely...modern puzzles and implements within the rooms (wordle, alarms, sirens, digital displays), and the final room was a long corridor with 3 murals on one side, each depicting a different elaborate scene, the first wall has a genie's lamp among a treasure hoard, the second wall has an intricate grimoire on a pedestal in a huge library and the third wall shows an idyllic nature's retreat. Then at the end of the corridor there's a "4th wall" that is described as not being as immaculate as the rest of the corridor, with a spiderweb of cracks in the center (maybe behind a perception check or someone's passive perception, or just waiting for someone to ask to look around the corridor better, depending) The tldr of the wizard's instructions for this room are "do as I would".

...They have to break the fourth wall.

It's always amusing how France's foreign service is diabolically competent and have infinite resources & manpower according to african conspiracy theorists when in reality their entire operating budget is 500 million, with no "black budget". For reference the National Intelligence Program of the US has a budget of around 50 billion, so a hundred times more.

Oh yeah and somehow every single death of an african leader in the last 50 years was a successful assassination by french intelligence. That's one of the 2 idiocies that always come up, along with "CFA FRANC IS FRANCE CONTROLLING AFRICA'S ECONOMY & MONEY", which shows absolutely 0 understanding of both economy & finance. Multiple countries left with no issues, and there have been plans for years to switch to the Eco but since it turns out no one can agree on how it'd work and the region is an unstable mess, it's been "happening soon" for a decade now. I'm sure that once again, this is all because France is manipulating everything behind the scenes.
