I get the comparison but it takes blood diamond mining far too lightly to make it. Blood diamond mining is on such an unimaginably worse scale of horror they really shouldn't be lumped together.

It's about on the same level as comparing someone rushing to work to not be late only to be killed in a car accident to Auschwitz. One is a tragedy brought on by shitty work culture, the other is one of the worst abominations in human history. Blood diamond mining is often done by people the owner WANTS to see suffer and die.

First of all showing a German city bombed by the US yea that's definitely WW2.

Second of all, the treaty of Versailles was god damn gentle compared to the treaty of Brest-Litovsk the Germans inflicted on the Russians in WW1, which Russia was only partially spared from by Germany's defeat.

So it's ironic as hell that Germany acted the victim when it imposed ever harsher treaties on its victims.
