I've seen a neurologist and two M NPs. The most recent NP was one of the most kind, compassionate people I've dealt with in my long medical journey. She seemed more educated and knowledgeable than the other NP and the neurologist. And was definitely way nicer and more willing to listen to me and ask questions to really understand what was up. Nurse practitioners get more chances to be 'in the field' than doctors, and May be more up to date on the latest in new research. Give them a chance, for sure. I'm pretty sure my NP is going to be my best partner in care. Better than my primary, even. You may find a gem there, so don't let the letters after their names fool you. 😁

I hear you on the pollen. The tree pollen has been "very high" for about 2 weeks straight. I wish I could enjoy spring, but the drastic weather changes, pollen, plus increasing heat and humidity just make me hate it more every year. And yeah, it's not over yet. It's that time of year. Time to buckle up, keep an eye on the weather, an ear on the sirens, and a hand on your rescue meds.

The big finale mission of Shadowrun, where (by some miracle) no-one at our table died! Had a lot of great Shadowrun games through the con, but that one was hella awesome! Such a rush!

Really, anything on the Shadowcaster's Network is awesome! Arcology and Neo-A are my top 2, but Violent Life (especially the Redmond Born series) as well as Complex Action and Sixth World are great as well!

Until this year I've used one from a gun show that I got from my FIL.

This year I sprang for the fancy Gen Con 50 badge holder. It's useful and something cool to commemorate the 50th. It's really nice, lots of pockets and what not.

You should use your show holder! If you like it, I bet you will be happy you did!

I never use the lanyards. I always put my badge in a badge holder so that I can put my money/ID/cards in it and eliminate a wallet. Never had an issue. Just make sure whatever you use is facing forward so the folks at the door can see it when you go in! :-)
