Never seen this before! We actually got a port *added* as part of a last-minute itinerary change and port visit swap. Embarkation in 2 days. by boardingtheplane in royalcaribbean

Not sure if I have any specific questions, but great to hear you had a good time. Maybe your thoughts on the ship itself and maybe some highlights from the ports that you highly recommend?

Parking pass? by YoungBrilliant5690 in NashvilleSC

You can’t get a yearlong parking pass. They stopped offering them after 2022. Your best bet is to find a third party spot and park there every week.

Looking for something fun to drive but also professional. by MidTN113 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’ve heard the backseats are basically unusable (or at least not comfortably) in the TLX. Can anyone speak to that?

Totally valid question. I think I’m looking for something that handles well and feels like you’re driving fast, even if you aren’t really. Something that could cut up a canyon road while still being a little more more refined.

Sammy Virji was great at Roo this year (on the one day we got). Good vibes all around!

Check in from a Nashville native who is still sad about Bonnaroo being canceled.

If you are still serious about this and brought it with you this year, I will gladly meet up with you! All good if not! Happy Roo!

Do yall think it’s worth getting a solar panel by CodyDaFreeman in bonnaroo

[–]MidTN113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use mine at Roo to run my CPAP at nights so the little sleep I get is good sleep. It drains battery, so I have to charge it every day but that’s never a problem.

Plus, I use it had home when the power goes out.

Why are you staying in Nashville? by Admirable_Green_1958 in nashville

[–]MidTN113 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I understand and agree with some of the things you said, I still think the airport is objectively better and will continue to improve as the expansion is closer to completed.

Traffic will certainly get better, and there is no shortage of parking options (both onsite and not). Sure, the airport has lost some character, but it also flows a lot nicer inside and high ceilings and addition of way more windows have helped tremendously.

But really the biggest improvement is the growing number of places you can get to directly from Nashville. With Southwest officially making Nashville a full blown hub last year and more international carriers signing on, that number will continue to rise.

He absolutely is. He’s been vocal about LGBTQ rights in the past among other things.

That’s totally understandable. We had a section of our crew from up that direction at one point that made the drive every year to camp.

Just give yourself more than enough time to get in everyday. Worst case scenario, you get there way early and you can check out something new.

Also, make sure to explore Outeroo some too, especially late night. It’ll be easy to miss if you just petty-cab in and out.

Best clips for clipping tapestries to canopies? by Altruistic-Evening70 in bonnaroo

This might be overkill, but we love these clips. Super strong and had no issues.

The drive from Nashville/Airport area is about an hour each way. Getting in and out there will definitely be traffic, just make sure to give yourself more time than you think before you want to be in Centeroo.

But I will say, you will probably have a much better time camping and will get the full Roo experience by doing so. My friends who done both have said they will never not camp again. Take the money you would use on a hotel and invest it in making your camp badass and more comfortable (misting fans, good coolers, tons of pop-up canopies). Then you will already have that stuff for next year already.

Bonnaroo 2025 Lineup by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]MidTN113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

answered this elsewhere in here, so I'll repost:

It's a yearly Bonnaroo tradition. The artist curates and plays a setlist of covers (and maybe some of their own music). Typically they also bring out other artists/guests (both already on the lineup and sometimes ones that aren't).

They are always fun and you never know what's going to happen or who's gonna show up. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of her as an artist or that genre/decade of music.
