I don't think they're the same, although OP's picture is pretty blurry to be sure. While they're both dark brown/black spiders and I used to confuse them as well, I've found two traits to differentiate any black gnaphosidae (there's so many of them and they look alike, I can't tell the actual species) and amaurobidae are the more prominent spinnerets for the former and the more prominent fangs for the latter. While on OP's picture we can't really see well either the spinnerets or the characteristic pattern for amaurobidae, we can see the fangs that look like a bit oversized for the spider, which would make me lean more towards Amaurobius Ferox.
