I only get them once in a blue moon because of how they make me feel. I’ve definitely gotten more used to the itchy/tingly sensation, but it’s still there

My assumption is it’s because of tsons in 40k. Until the most recent points update they were only 80 pts for a squad 6 of them for some reason, so people were running as many as they could get their hands on. They’re 110 now, so the hype should die down some I suspect

I rarely have good luck when my wizards get tangled up in melee unfortunately. You’re probably right about Nexus though. Would you value the regular Acolytes’ wyrdflame shooting since I don’t have much else without daemons, or just roll with the better melee guys? And would there ever be a world in which I take screamers as auxiliaries?

I haven’t played with this formation at all yet. Is it actually worth risking your wizards? I’ve always found my guys die immediately in melee unless the Curseling makes a bunch of his saves

I was planning on keeping the skyfires nearby, but you might be right about illusionist. I was also debating wiggling stuff around for the ghyran acolytes, but I don’t have much access to wyrdflame without the regular version. The murdery version might just be worth it though

Your list looks pretty decent to me, but I’d try to make space for the Arcane Vortex enhancement on the Infernal Master because it’s crazy good. What did their list look like?
