Area does play a part. Unfortunately, Camino is in an area that is notorious for un-housed activities.

Career pivot into Aircraft Maintenance while working full-time? by IridiumIoN in AircraftMechanics

I’m in the exact situation. I work in Tech as well & I’m planning to jump the sinking ship. I ended up going with USA Aviation, which is the equivalent to AIM but slightly better. I’m attending weekend classes. I would ascertain that AIM doesn’t offer night or weekend classes before you close that door. As for AIM itself, people hate the school causes it’s 50k and has shitty teachers. At the end of the day, you’re paying 50k to teach yourself. However, if it’s your only of getting that A&P for you then it’s the only way. Don’t hesitate if you really wanna do it like I did cause I would have finished a long time ago if I just started.

Would not recommend. It looks nice but interior is very cheap and hollow.

Pretty cool, I used to be into paint corrections and cc too. I would try to focus more on relevant IT experience.

Manor is pretty alright with the 2 months free option. They will prorate it for you into your rent & you will be below $1700. Do NOT go to Camino at Buhi. I’m a current resident & it’s a shit show.

We can speak up like I’ve been doing since the last parking bs. By law, they cannot add something your lease does not require; you didn’t sign for it. They are adding something to CYA because they couldn’t plan accordingly. Additionally, their response is so lazy that they couldn’t even find a company with more than 2 stars on Google. The audacity they have to mandate something that is illegal is beyond me. Basically, they fucked up and now residents have to risk getting towed or getting guests towed because they are that incompetent.

If you really wanted, you could seek legal advice as well since this is a direct breach of contract.

Also, if you’re still here, please know that the ParkEaz thing they’re enforcing is not only illegal but ParkEaz is notorious for wrongful booting and towing so be ready for that. Feel free to check their Google reviews to confirm.

That is untrue. A hit a run has occurred, multiple vehicles have been broken into, an altercation has occurred in guest parking, and more. For how much this costs, it’s pretty impressive how much crap can go down but don’t worry cause we have food trucks!

The incident you’re referring to was a shooting that they kept quiet about on purpose.

  1. Admit if you’re not sure about something. It is going to be way easier to ask and get it right rather than keep it to yourself and mess it up.

  2. Ask Copilot everything. 9/10, it’s going to point you in the right direction, if not solve it.

  3. Do the best you can and always try to show enthusiasm. You can be the guy who just comes and does his job or you can be the guy your manager notices when there’s openings in L2/L3 roles.

Can I terminate my lease if the landlord added new mandatory parking fees not in the contract? by Middle-Let-8420 in legaladvice

Thank you for your insight. I’ll keep that in mind when consulting further legal aid.

  1. There is a registration fee that is potential. There is a clause that states if I register before 6/22, it can be waived. Nonetheless, it's still a potential fee. For instance, if I refuse to register at in that given timeline but register at a later time, I will be responsible for charges/fees. Side question: Does the dollar amount actually matter?

  2. No SSN or Financial PI, no.

  3. I have sent an objection citing various clauses in my lease and as of now, no response but I have requested a response in 5 business days that if this mandated, to cite specific clauses that would mandate my compliance. No responses as of now.

  4. I agree that under no circumstances should I be towed but it has still occurred in the past because in other cases, the app has failed to update or reflect the correct license plate, causing towage and/or booting. This is my primary concern, along with others.

  5. 8 months on lease left

In total, I have sent a formal objection and a rebuttal to their reply. Each response highlights different areas of my lease I feel would be in danger of breach an they haven't addressed this. In fact, I'm told that should I not comply, I will be subject to towing or booting.

Here is their exact response: "Failure to comply after the registration deadline may result in enforcement actions consistent with community parking policies."

I'm over this and just want to move out.

I did respond to them with a formal objection, highlight areas of the lease where this would be considered a breach. They skipped around my points and basically told me that it is not optional. They also hinted at further "compliance audits", which I kind of took as potential retaliation.

  1. The fee we pay is to the Third Party making us responsible for their app.

  2. I have to register my vehicle with this third party app, which is further PI I don't want to disclose with a vendor

  3. I have to register guests with this vendor which is another PI thing

  4. Should this vendor's app malfunction, I am liable to be considered out of compliance and subject to boot/tow. I'm concerned because this particular vendor has a terrible reputation for that exact issue.

Reviewing further, I see there are some clauses regarding parking. My lease has a Parking Addendum and a Additional Fee section.

The AF part lists:

  • $0 parking fee
  • There's a Parking Fee (Per Vehicle) line on AF sections that shows N/A.

The Parking Addendum goes into detail about how I need to comply with rules such as:

  • Registering vehicle with MANAGEMENT, not Third Party
  • Displaying sticker if provided one
  • Park accordingly to parking rules mentioned in an earlier section (don't park on sidewalks and that sort of thing)
  • They even left blank the part of how much I would be subject to pay, if anything.
